Venuus
"I'd like to warn you now. This will either be the easiest or one of the most difficult classes you take. It would be the hardest if you are distracted, like Hawk back there. Maybe turn your attention to me instead of the back of Venuus's head."
Those are the words that really woke me up from my nap.
From the moment I walked into this damn class a couple of minutes after the bell rang, I already knew this teacher was going to do everything he could to annoy me.
And that's exactly what he was doing.
Except this time he decided to drag Hawk down with me.
I don't turn around to look at the boy, but I can already see everyone else doing it. I move in my chair trying to free my poor mind of the thought of someone staring me down all class period.
Then I remember it's just Hawk. He was probably just thinking about the stuff that happened yesterday. So, I decide to not let it bother me.
Truthfully, It would've bothered me more if it were someone else.
When the second video begins, I rest my head back down and let myself fall back asleep.

"Hey. Venuus?" someone disrupts my nap.
I lift my head slightly towards the whispering voice. It's the girl next to me. I hum waiting for her to explain why she awoke me.
"Class is about to end." She continues to whisper. The video keeps playing in the background as people start to quietly pack up.
"Thank you." I smile at her and put my hand on my bag. It doesn't take long for the bell to ring. Someone turns on the lights as we all start to flood out of the class. There's loud chatter coming from the hallway. I walk towards the door with my head down. I should probably text Cass and tell her that I'm actually in school.
I start texting her when someone taps my shoulder gently. I whip my head around quickly and look up to see the watcher himself.
"Yes?"
"Um..." Hawk starts. He raises his hand up and starts messing with the back of his hair. His eyes wander around the room nervously. I stand there waiting for him to spit it out.
"Just speak," I say impatiently. His eyes meet mine and he stares deep into them. His eyes immediately pull me in like I'm being sucked into a jar of sweet honey. Neither of us looks away. Until I realize we should go before we're late.
I start to walk away and he runs up to be in front of me and starts walking backwards. Not taking his eyes off me.
"So, I was wondering... You don't have a ride on Friday, right?" He finally asks. Though I'm not sure why he would ask in the first place.
"...Right" I answer slowly.
"So, maybe I could take you home." He suggests. The suggestion actually catches me off guard. I drag my finger against the lockers while thinking.
He stops and moves so he could stand next to me. I guess he got tired of almost bumping into a bunch of people.
I notice he keeps checking the time every time we pass by a clock in the hall, so I decide to not keep him waiting any longer. I look up at him. "Don't worry about me. I'll figure something out. Thank you though." I whisper the last part as I slow down near my next class. I smile at him and walk in before he can answer me back.
I feel bad for not letting him reply to me, but I can tell he was worried about being late anyways. So I don't let it bother me.
