Kaden was born in a hospital in Montreal Quebec Canada. His was mom was the younger sister of professional hockey player Carey Price. Her name was Mataya Alexis Price. She got in a car accident when he was just 9 months old. Mataya tho had not seen or spoken to her family since her breakup with Corey Crawford nearly 2 years earlier so her family had no idea of the existence of Kaden. The only one that did was her best friend Jonathan Toews who promised to never say anything. Kaden with no one able to find family was placed into the foster system at just 9 months old. Kaden bounces around the system for awhile before finally being shipped off to Pittsburgh.
