Kaden's P.O.V

I woke up a few minutes after dad did the next morning. I slowly got out of bed and went into the bathroom to shower and get dressed. Dad went after I finished. Dad then helped me style my hair. We both once we had our shoes on grabbed our gear and headed to the arena we had heard that a few of the leagues big shot goalies were going to be holding a camp for young goalies to train under professional goalies at the arena for the next few days. I had seen a sign for it last night and begged Dad to go. He caved easily with a chuckle.

30 minutes we arrived at the arena. I seen Corey Crawford, Carey Price, Ben Bishop all standing at the doors greeting people. Dad got out first. I then got out and grabbed my hockey equipment bag. I knew I may stand out due to the fact that Dad always made sure I had the best hockey equipment. Plus Dad had just gotten me a new custom made hockey mask. Dad grabbed his hockey equipment bag. His bag had the Penguins logo on it. When the kids seen Dad walk in most were excited.

Over the years I had kept my accent due to my dad's accent so my accent not being America always made me stand out. I found it better to stay quiet and let my hockey skills speak for themselves. Carey walked over to Dad and shook his hand. They said a few words to each other before Dad lead me to what would be the Goldenknights locker room. We both got changed. Corey Crawford was already in the room he was pulling his jersey on just as I was putting my shoulder pads on. He looked over to me when he was almost fully ready except for his mask and gloves. My leg pads were done the same in terms of tightness to how dad did his. I put my Fleury jersey on. I put my gloves on and grabbed my stick. I stood up and grabbed my mask and put it on. I walked over to dad who was just doing up his shoulder pads. He stopped to check that my pads were tight enough.
"You are good bud." Dad says.
He puts his Penguins practice Jersey on. He then places his mask on and puts his gloves on and grabs his stick. Corey had finished too. Me and dad quickly hit the ice. Dad and I skate a few laps. There were men in suits watching. I looked and seen that Jonathan Toews was here. When we stopped dad and I got on the ground beside each other and did our stretches. When we finished. Dad and I skated over to my idol besides dad Carey Price.
"Hi Carey." I say shyly. My accent got me looks. Even tho I have lived in Pittsburgh for 8 years my french Canadian accent is still strong. He smiles at me.
"Hi buddy you excited." He replies.
"Very. Dad and I arrived in Vegas late last night. My name is Kaden Fleury." I say with a smile. His face lights up with recognition.
"Wow you have grown since I seen you when you were 3 in Montreal at a Canadiens game." He says smiling.
"I remember falling asleep on your shoulder." I say which makes us and Dad laugh. Corey and Ben skate over just as Carey says.
"Following your dad's big footsteps I see." Carey says the other 2 goalies were shocked.
"He is but I am not the only goalie he idolizes Carey. He still idolizes you." Dad says and Carey smiles.
"Wait until you see how much he has improved since you seen him play when he was 3. He already had scouts looking at him back in Pittsburgh." Dad says.
I skate over and get into the net and get a feel for the crease like dad always does. I seen that Jonathan Toews, Crosby, Letang, Malkin and Patrick Kane were here to help out.

"I am curious to see how good Flower Jr is." Toews says.
"Shoot on me and find out." I say with a smirk which causes Crosby and Letang to laugh.
"Mini Flower indeed." Crosby says laughing. Toews grabs a puck and skates at me like he would in a shoot out and shot a little lighter then he would do to my dad. I dived and caught the shot in my glove it should be a impossible for someone my age to save that. Everyone on ice went quiet in shock.
"Holy shit." Crawford says coming out of his shock. Dad, Malkin, Crosby and Letang are all grinning. Since they had been helping me train since I was 3.

Marc-Andre P.O.V

Even I was shocked that he caught that. One of the men that was in suits called me over. I skated over. It was coach Q from the Blackhawks.
"Who is that kid in the net. He is very good. I have not even seen kids at 14 years old catch that shot that kid will be drafted 1st when he is old enough." He says. I motion for him to follow me into the locker room.
"Do you remember 8 years ago how the NHL was demanded to run a DNA test on a 3 year old." I ask.
He nods.
"The results came back as Crawford being his dad and Price being his uncle by blood." He says.
"Do you have any plans to tell Price or Crawford of their DNA to him." He asks.
"I do but I have to tell Kaden first. I will be telling him today. He turns 12 in a week so it is time that he knows where he comes from." I say.
"I am also going to be telling Carey and Corey. I need to do it fast because the DNA results were leaked to the media luckily for his protection I asked them to leave the child's name off of the paper." I say. He nods in understanding.

Kaden's P.O.V

A kid a few years older then me skates over and takes a shot at the net that I easily catch. He looks at me shocked. He skates to me.
"I'm Austin Jacobs. Your not from from Vegas are you?" He says. I lift my goalie mask to where it is resting on my head. I seen Toews and Kanes gasp when they got a good look at my face because I do not look like my parents at all. I know I am adopted but no one besides my parents and I know about that.
"No I am not. I am originally from Montreal but I have lived in Pittsburgh for the last 8 years due to my dad's job. We travel back to Quebec in the summer tho for a month or 2. I am Kaden Fleury." I say with pride. His eyes shoot up when he hears my french Canadian accent.
"Your dad is Marc-Andre Fleury isn't it?" He asks. I nod.
"That is awesome." He says with a grin.
"Do you play organized hockey?" Austin asks.
"I do back in Pittsburgh. I have scouts looking at me and everything." I say smiling.
"That's awesome. I play for my school team the golden hawks It is junior A. We have not made the playoffs in years. The team is good but we have the worst goalie in the league. The kid is cocky but he slacks off a lot. He only is our starter because he comes from a rich family his dad payed the coach off to get him on the team as our starter." Austin says.
"That is wrong in so many ways. He should have to use his talent to get on the team instead of his Dad throwing money." I reply.
I look over and see dad talking to talking to the guy that will be his coach. I decided to work on my technique but there is one move that I always mess up. Geno comes up to me.
"Hi uncle Geno." I say with a smile and hug him. He smiles back at me.
"Hi Kaden. Ready to practice." He says.
"Always. Uncle Geno can you help me with the technique dad showed me last week. I always mess it up." I say looking down.
"I get Corey he not busy then I take shot at goal to help." Geno says. I grin.
"Ok thank you uncle Geno." I say.
"Anytime Kaden" He says walking over to Crawford. Crawford smiles and comes over to me. I pull my mask back down into place. I get into stance Geno takes a shot and I attempted the technique and I messed up. Crawford right away sees what I am doing wrong. He skates over to me and he corrects my stance Geno takes at shot at Crawford. Crawford does the technique I am trying to master he shows me how to do it correctly.
"You see what I did now try it again. You got this Kaden." He says with a smile. I get into stance Geno shoots and I do the technique without messing up. Geno smiles brightly.
"You did it Kaden!" He says excited it causes dad and Carey to look over. I get back in stance and Geno shoots at me again and I do it again. Dad smiles and Carey looks shocked.
"You finally got it down Kaden good job." Dad says. I smile.
"Crawford helped dad." I say. We practiced for another 45 minutes before we all decided to call it a day. I skated off the ice and walked to the Goldenknights locker room. I quickly got out of my gear and went and showered then got dressed. I packed my gear into my bag once I finished changing. Me and Austin exchange numbers dad gave me a cellphone last year so he and I could text when ever he was on the road and I needed hockey advice but also incase of an emergency. We both put our bags into the trunk of dad's car before we got in the car and drove to the nearest diner for lunch.
