Granola dreams

Three days had passed since I'd been taken from home.

The men who abducted me took me to an abandoned building somewhere on the edge of town.

From what I could gather they had dragged me inside what looked like an old milk factory. The windows we covered with grime and dirt. Broken glass and dust spread across the entire room where a single chair was sitting. 

The men had sat me down and made no attempt to talk to me. They hadn't even looked me in the eyes. It was as if they had not interest in who I was, which seemed ironic since they kidnapped me.

The only thing that they'd done to interact with me was giving me water or some granola bars. 

This whole thing was weird. I mean the men themselves were all in black suits, with sunglasses on. 

Two men stood by the entrance they took me through, not moving a single inch since we arrived here. There were three who stood behind me, a mere arms length away. I could feel them all staring at my back, making me realize the true meaning of claustrophobia.

And the same man always seemed to bring me a water bottle or food. He was of average height, his skin the color of dark chocolate, and he had a scar on his cheek. It was faint, but it stretched from the corner of his mouth, and disappeared under his dark sunglasses. His body language seemed stiff and protective, but the moment he handed me the water, I could sense a gentleness in his touch. But before I can even gather my thoughts the feeling is gone and he's walking away.

Which did not even help the situation. It was all very confusing because for one, I wasn't even tied up. But its not like I was even going to try and escape. Like I could get past seven of them. They barely even moved. 

Which was another problem, why were they doing this? Who even hired them? What could I, a deaf girl with strange eyes have to do with anybody? As far as I knew, I hadn't made any enemies. It wasn't like I was friends with someone this loaded. One who could hire for all I know assassins. Weren't they expensive?

Plus where the hell was my sister? They hadn't brought her here with me, so they must have taken her to another safe house. If that's what this place even was. 

What the hell did these people want from us, what the hell is going on???

Because according to my goddamn file I had much more important things to worry about than getting kidnapped, like where my sister was. Did they take her too? Or did she leave the house on her own? Is she out there on her own, with no where to go and no money? How was I going to find her if these assholes kept me here?

For shit's sake, is anyone even looking for us?
