There was peace

Kori paced the corridor, stopping outside a door, yelling coming from inside. She plucked up the courage to knock, lightly at first. The yelling continued, so they knocked harder than before.

The yelling stopped. Footsteps approached the door, as the person behind it fumbled with the lock.

Hazel eyes met their own, widening as they scrutinised her face.

"Is uh- Sasha in?" She mumbled, another pair of eyes peeking at her.

Sasha appeared, her mouth slightly open.

"I didn't think you'd find me" She whispered, approaching and shoving the taller person out of the way.

Kori couldn't help but smile, "Yeah, that thing you lost before, wouldn't happen to be a small art book would it?", as they held the small object.

Sasha eyed it and Kori carefully, before accepting it gratefully, "It's awkward having you out there, i mean, do you want to come in?".

She did so, shutting the door behind themselves. Turning to see Vanessa Quill and her notorious girlfriend Elizabeth Healey. Kori felt it was polite to greet them, moving forward slowly and holding out her hand. Sasha giggled behind them, "They know who you are, stupid".

They looked between the pair once more, allowing herself to be pulled into a small bedroom. Sasha sorted through piles of papers, continuing to add them to other piles of papers. On the wall opposite the door was a huge board with pins stuck into it.

"Ignore that, its just a little sommet i was working on" Sasha commented, studying her face.

Their eyes drifted to Sasha, finally looking to what she was now wearing.

"Party?" She mouthed.

Sash nodded in a reply. The jeans fit loosely around her ankles, the black turtle neck stuck to her.

"Could you get the zip?" Sasha added.

Koraline stepped forward, moving her hands and trailing her back. Sashas' breathing hitched, as her own hands fumbled to move her wavy-ish curls out of the way. She locked her fingers onto the small zip, pulling it up slowly, taking time to look at Sashas smooth back. She stopped part way, looking up to the mirror in the corner. Dark brown eyes hidden behind long eyelashes watched them.

Sasha moved back slightly, the gap between them being so so small.

Kori panicked, pulling the zipper up, moving back. She hid her face, looking around the room.

Sasha stepped forward, "Did i do something wrong? Please tell me if i did, i don't want this to be awkward".

Koraline shook their head, "So wheres the party at?" she mumbled, changing the subject.

Sasha smirked, pulling the blind down slightly, "A small party, its at The Spear i think?"

Kori thought about it, she could just be there for the fun of it. But something nagged at her brain, to be there for Sasha, just in case.

"I think you should come along with me Kori," Sasha stepped forward, meeting their anxious eyes.

"No.. i want you to come with me", She spoke softly.

Koraline trembled as Sasha rested a hand on her arm. Moving forward to close the gap, moving their own hands to her waist. Sasha looked up to their lips, but Kori pulled away.

"I look a mess, when does it start?" she replied, "I could get to my flat and change, meet you there?".

Sasha tilted her head, "You fine with walking on your own?"

No, you could come with me.. i wouldn't focus on myself.

"Pfft, Yeah i'll be fine Sash" they smiled, looking down at her outfit.

"You look really pretty, Miss Clayton".
