Sasha yawned, looking over to Kori who kept trying to keep her eyelids open. She stood up, offering her hand to them; Kori taking it and standing up. They smiled at eachother,

"My shirt looks great on you, huh?" Kori whispered.

Sasha smiled to herself, "Im just gonna use the bathroom"

Kori nodded, walking into the bedroom, taking off her tank top and falling on her front, flat on the bed.

Sasha walked in shortly after, jumping and turning her head quickly. Kori lay asleep, her tank top on the floor. Sasha turned her head slowly, watching the rise and fall of her chest. She grabbed the blinds, shutting them, turning to pull a cover over Kori. She moved, watching her and then walked out, pulling the door shut behind her.

She went and curled up on the couch, pushing the cushions to try and get comfortable. She reached over, pulling at a cover dawned on top of the couch. Sighing and staring off into space, Sasha managed to get to sleep relatively easily.

——

Koraline woke up, reaching her hand to search for Sasha. They hadn't noticed if they had slept together with her. Rubbing their tired eyes, they got up slowly. Whatever time it was, it was definitely after midnight.

Kori fumbled through the dark corridor, the moon lighting up Sashas' small body on the fuzzy couch. They watched for a while, everything seeming surreal.

'Kori? What are you doing?' Sasha huffed. Kori lay in her arms, kissing her neck softly.

They blinked again, moving to the kitchen, fumbling for a cup. Filling it slowly, she placed it down on the counter, placing her hands on the edge of the sink.

A phone buzzed, making them turn around, a light illuminated Sashas chest. They walked lightly, moving to take the phone gently.

'Where you at?', 'Sasha, phone me', 'Vanessa and me are headed home, text me you're safe'.

A chain of worried texts from Elizabeth. Regardless of how rude they were, they did have a kind heart.

They placed the phone down, looking down at Sasha.

She whimpered in her sleep, something bothering her. Kori walked back to the kitchen grabbing the cup of water, watching over Sasha.

——

Her mind burned slowly, the path never ending. The unsettling feeling that something is behind her, she can't see it when she turns around.

Sasha jumps awake, her gasps for air, her panicked frantic searching being cut short by Kori rushing towards her. They cupped her face, sitting next to her feet, holding onto her. Shaking, she pulls the phone up to view. Kori held her close, her breathing slowing and becoming lighter.

"Hey, shhh its okay", Kori held onto her as Sasha lay down again, covering her tear filled eyes.

They watched her, Sasha moving forward, "Can you just cuddle me?".

Koraline blinked, not even thinking about her answer. They crawled behind Sasha, wrapping her up with their arms. She buried her face into Sashas' neck, sighing deeply. She continued to comfort her, tracing the freckles on her arms. Sasha sighed, pulling Koris' other hand to her lips, tracing each knuckle.

Somewhere between that, they both fell asleep.
