Sasha shoved them hard, "Why the fuck are you here?"

Koraline gazed back impassively at her, ice cold eyes seeping into Sasha, peeling her apart.

Sasha picked up the blazer on the floor, and walked around to her bedroom. Her heart going a thousand beats a minute and she couldn't control it.

Kori walked in and pushed the door shut behind herself, "Please Sasha-".

She cut them off, sitting abruptly with her head in her hands and tears brimming along her red cheeks. She hadn't realised how much she resented them, resented what they did have together. What she had done, almost done.

Kori got down before her, their hands raised and fell again. Sasha sighed, brushing her stray hair out of her face.

"You are a really boring person", Kori retorted.

Sasha inhaled lightly, blowing the dangly bits of hair out of her face, "Guess so". The words dancing on the tip of her tongue, "Hey Kori?"

Koraline looked up, her eyes seemed to glisten almost in the later sun.

"Agree to be friends?" She smiled.

Kori raised an eyebrow, "With you? I might have to think about that"

——

Sasha fidgeted, moving past Kori to the bedroom door. Pulling on the door, she felt herself pulling away from Kori once again.

The silence seemed to weigh on her soul, her arms feeling heavy.

Brushing her messy lopsided hair away from her eyes, Sasha set to attempt making pre-bought pasta.

Kori appeared next to her, fumbling with the washing up.

"Ive got it", Sasha chittered. She stepped from the boiling water and slightly hard pasta.

Kori moved around her, reaching to turn the dial down. The water simmered down slightly.

"I can make pasta on my own, Koraline".

They stepped back, leaning against a counter side. Koralines hair swished to one side, their eyes looking through the parting.

Sasha turned away from them, hiding the feeling in her stomach. The way they stared at her, made her feel giddy.

Sasha stood fidgeting with the steaming hot water, and its steaming hot steam, and her steaming hot attitude. The water rolled from her skin, her fingers brightly pink underneath the glistening layer.
