~Asahi Azumane-new year's kisses~

A: I know I have already written one about Asahi, but it's his birthday so why not.

The living room of the full house was where you had decided to stay for most the party. Asahi had gone to other things with Daichi and Sugawara leaving you alone on the couch. You watch the TV as the people on the TV were jumping and singing to new year's concert.

New years as far as you could remember was never a good time for you, but Asahi was excited to see his high school friends again, so you went to the crowded party with him.

Everytime you thought about the day of reflection it bothered you to no end. You hated looking back on past years but Asahi loved it and so you had too.

Well not all of it was that bad. The only good part was the fireworks. You always stayed up to watch them from outside your window as a kid. So, it kind of stuck with you.

There was only about 30 minutes until 12:00, the new year. So, you decided to get off the couch and maybe walk around for a bit.

You shuffled your way through the crowds until you were outside on the back patio. You weren't planning on being outside, but once you where it wasn't that bad.

You sigh look up to the clear sky full of burning stars. Then you hear a loud bang in the distance and a colorful sparkle fly through the air.

It was the firework show!

Your eyes lit up at the sight of the multi color display. You watched in awe not even realizing the growing crowd around you.

But see the chatter gets so loud you finally notice the people around you, also looking up at the sky.

And among those people, front and center, was Asahi. You smile seeing the live of your life looking at the sky so mesmerized by the show.

You walk up to him. " Hey" you simply say, getting his attention. He looks down at you.

"Hey sweetie" he says, putting his arm around you. You look up at the sky once again.

You smile at the colors flooding the sky. But just as fast as it starts it was over.

Now there was only about 5 minutes left till midnight. You sigh, now knowing the year you had just lived was almost over and done with.

You look over at Asahi. You looked for everyone that was once behind Asahi, but to no avail. You and Asahi were the only ones there.

" Are we not going to go in and watch the ball drop?" You ask Asahi. He smiles down at you, rubbing your side.

" Do you want to?" He asks. You shook your head. " I don't really mind staying out here" you say, leaning your head onto the shoulder of Asahi.

You hear the echoing voices of the rest of the party in the living room. You and Asahi sit down on the porch of the deck, looking up at the sky. "

" 5, 4, 3, 2, 1," You hear Asahi say.

" Happy new year" you continue. Giving him a kiss on the lips.

Asahi put his hand on your cheek, deepening the kiss. Soon you feel the need to breathe. You pull away of the kiss.

" Happy new year baby" Asahi tells you, kissing your forehead.

" You too" you answer, laying your head on his shoulder again.
