~Terushima Yūji - pain is okay~

A: I'm here again doing something for Terushima hope you enjoy. This angst by the way. It's my first so please enjoy.

Warnings: crying, self-harm, etc. Of you are uncomfortable with these topics please read something else, take care of yourself please.

Terushima sat restless in his last class. He hadn't seen you since Thursday. It was Friday. He was going to make it a point to skip his practice and go straight to your house after this miserable class. He couldn't help but stare at clock which seemed to only be moving slower.

20 minutes until the bell would ring, letting him leave. He hadn't checked up on you until today because he was so busy with volleyball.

He felt so bad for leaving you the dust. He did try texting you and calling you. You just never returned the texts or calls.

He was a horrible person for this. And he knew the thing you had gone through.

And soon he heard the sweet sound of the bellringing. He shoved his books into his bag and ran out of the room and ran through the halls and out of the school.

Some of his teammates had seen him run through the halls calling for him and why he wasn't going to practice. He ignored the calls of his teammates running straight through the double doors leading out of the school.

Terushima runs along the sidewalk, rushing past classmates walking home. He was really glad that you didn't live super far from the school. He was already starting to lose breathe. As he ran, he was praying to himself that you were ok. He would be able to forgive himself.

Finally, he was on the sidewalk of your house. He started counting the houses, remembering that your house was 12 houses down from the front of the small neighborhood. He was still tired but still ran. He finally started to see the mailbox of your house. He smiled.

He ran up onto your porch. he knocked on the door a couple times to no answer. He then started calling your name. " Y/N!" he yelled. " Hey are you ok? I'm here to help you and see you babe" he yells out again. When he still doesn't get an answer, he gets the key you gave him and unlocks the door.

He walks into the house. All the lights were off and there was no sound of any tv or anything. It was silent. You were always watching a new show, so he found it weird, but maybe you were sleeping? It was a possibility, but he knew that probably wasn't it.

" Babe? It's me Terushima are you home? Are you ok?" he calls out for you. " Go away" he hears your soft voice say from the bedroom. He felt it was such a relief to hear your voice. " No baby I'm here to make sure you're ok" Terushima answers, walking toward your bedroom.

" No go away. I'm ok. Really I am" You reassure your boyfriend. But Terushima isn't falling for your 'no its nothing' trick. He finally is standing in front of the bedroom door. he tried to turn the handle. But it's locked. He automatically knew something was up now.

" Hey baby, I know you're not so please let me in. I want to be there for you and help you." he says, putting a hand on the door. " No please go away" you say yet again. " No baby I won't go away I want to help you." Terushima says.

" Please let me in." He begs. This continues for a couple minutes. You tell Terushima to go away and Terushima refuses. But soon you give in realizing that he won't leave you be. Terushima sighs in relief once he hears your footsteps come closer to the door.

You open the door and Terushima's face lights up because he finally gets to see your face again. It was a tear-stained face, but it was his very favorite one. He hugged you close to his chest. You let yourself relax into his chest, you had missed him, and you knew he was worried. "Why didn't you answer any of my calls?" Terushima asks, cupping your cheeks to look you in eye.

You face pinched up; tears start to fall following the path on your face. " Hey, it's okay take your time" Terushima said, leading you towards the bed so the both of you could sit down.

" So, what happened?" Terushima asks, holding you close to him. " I'm so sorry. I tried to not do it, but I did I'm so sorry I broke the promise" you sobbed, you played with the sleeve of your hoodie. Terushima knew exactly what you meant; it broke him to pieces.

Terushima didn't want to believe that you had done that to yourself again. He started to panic, and a tear fell from his eyes as well. " Can you show me? Only if you're comfortable baby. Just know I'm not mad at you, it's ok I promise" Terushima reassured you.

You sniffled as you lifted up the bottom of your sleeve to show your slashed wrist. There was about 10 from what Terushima could see. He took your hand a kissed your wrist. Terushima softly pulled your sleeve back down, and he but your head into his shoulder, placing his hand on your head.

" Hey baby, it's ok. You can always start over, tomorrows a new day. And I love you even though you do this. You can tell me what made you do this if you would like but you don't have to" Terushima whispered.

You nod. Silence settled over the room. Terushima lied down on your bed. You lied your head on his chest and started to fall asleep knowing Terushima was there. " Thank you, love" you thank your boyfriend. He nods "It's no problem darling" Terushima answered.

" Is it ok if I tell you why after I get some sleep? I haven't slept in a while." you ask.

" Yeah, of course baby" Terushima answered.

And soon the late afternoon ambience soon made you and Terushima succumb to your sleepiness.
