Get ready to get hurt.

"I never wanted you to suffer Narcissa. I always tried to put you and Draco first. But I failed." Lucius started. "I needed to protect you and I couldn't. When faced with my worst fear I failed you both." Lucius carry on, "I want to hold your hand and give you a kiss for being an amazing wife and mother. You were everything I could ever wish for." And then he broke down. "I wish it would have been me. Please Narcissa just come back. All I want is for you to come back and take care of Draco. Without you, I can't take it. It is so hard coming home and not being greeted by you." Lucius couldn't take it anymore. He sunk to his knees, looking at her grave crying. "I never meant for it to end like this. The person who knew me the best, who knew everything about me and always made sure I was happy. I failed you, I failed you as a husband, as the father of our child, as a friend. I'm losing it Narcissa. I lost you, Draco, I lost everything because of my selfish reasons." Lucius couldn't talk anymore, he sat their crying at her grave.

It has been years but Lucius went to her grave every week. He always left flowers and either a little love note or a letter just like he used to do. He slowly started talking again to Draco, it was not always good as they yelled a lot especially in the beginning. Draco was still made at Lucius which Lucius understood as it was indeed his fault.

"Draco, I know I said this a lot but I truly am sorry." Lucius has tolded him this about 50 times the last few months alone. "I know you are father, I'm learning to forgive you as I know you taught is was for the best." His son responed. "You remind me so much of her at the moment. Always knowing just what to say." Lucius smiled a bit, remembering when Narcissa once tolded him the same thing. "To be honest I'm glad I remind you of her. It stings but she will in some sort of way live on with me." Draco answered looked at his dad. "You two truly were each others other half dad. I remember when I was alone with mom during the second wizard war, she could barely look at me in the beginning. I looked so much like you it broke her." Draco declared. "She always used to say that you are her other half. Not just because you looked the part but because you were the part. Happily married, continuing the blood line with a son, and whenever one of you needed one another you would always drop everything no question asked." Draco smiled and continued before Lucius could speak again. "I am not mad just disappointed because the one time you didn't drop everything for her, it didn't go well." Without knowing both man were sitting there teary eyed looking back at the good times.

Very short chapter but I like it this way. Very short, heartbreaking but yet a bit comforting.

Thank you all for the support I have received since starting this book and with my very bad uploading schedule as I don't have one.
