Aidan's Pov:

I rubbed my eyes opening them slightly seeing that I was still in my room, and Y/n asleep on my chest. I rubbed her back lightly to wake her up, "Y/n.." I whispered.

I knew she could hear me with the tiny whine she gave back, "You can't sleep all day, plus it's new years eve.." thinking that would get her up.

She lifted her head and looked at me, "The only thing special about new years is the year changing a number" She laid her head back on me, she was right, the only difference would it being 2021 instead of 2020. "Well yeah, but I was thinking we have fun. Make it a new years we'll never forget-" I smiled.

"Fine-"

She got up off of me and looked at me, "Coming? Or.." she asked waiting for me to get up. "Maybe I lied.." I tried holding in my laugh that was building up inside me, she grabbed my hand trying to get me out of bed, "Fine I'll just have my own fun-" she let go of my hand and rolled her eyes starting to walk away.

"What?! What do you mean own fun?" I got out of bed following her.

"Well that got you up, I was kidding."

I stared at her, "So you're a tease?" She didn't respond. "Y/n.." still nothing, and then she had walked out of the room. I followed her downstairs and in to the living room.

"Ok, maybe. But only you because you're cute when you're confused or frustrated.." she finally answered me, I stopped. "Wow, well good to know then because I too have my own ways-" I tried coming back at her.

To me it was crazy how Y/n was the girl wanting nothing to do with anyone here, including me. But now she was different, she was happy and probably didn't even realize it.

"Y/n-" I said, she looked at me. "Yeah?" All I could do was smile, and if I could stare at her all day. I nodded my head a little, "Nothing.." I walked away and saw Yelena in the kitchen doing something, I went over to her to see what she was doing.

"Alex right?" She asked, I was confused at first but realized, "Aidan actually.. Also where are the other's?"

Yelena shrugged while grabbing what looked liked the sugar, I think, from the cabinet. "I woke up and everyone but you and your girlfriend were gone-" she continued on, "Girlfriend? No were friends.." I said grabbing the back of my neck, she laughed under her breath, "You 2 would make a great couple.."

She was only saying that, she didn't mean it. "You don't mean that Yel-" "I saw the way you both were-" she lifted her arms and acted like she was hugging something, "Cuddling?" I answered. She stopped and pointed at me, "Yes that." I rolled my eyes a little, "Ok, I like her a little" I looked down at the counter.

"A little?"

"Stop doing that!"

"Do what?"

"T-The head games or whatever you're doing!"

"I'm not, you're just admitting your feelings for the first time." After she said that she gasped and looked at me.

"What?.." I was now concerned, "It's your first girlfriend isn't it?" She smiled.

I wish I could say that it was, but it wasn't, Y/n would be my second. But instead I lied, "Y-Yeah.. Y/n's not my girlfriend though, but I like her-" I probably sounded stupid.

Yelena came over and patted me on the shoulder, "Tell her-" I freaked out, "What? No-" she rolled her eyes slightly "Ok then I will.." starting to walk to the living room. "Yelena I will if you shut it"

"On one condition-" she turned around and faced me, I groaned, "Now what?" I hoped the favor wasn't big.

"You're in charge of buying the beverages-" what was she talking about? We had plenty of juices and- then it hit me. "I'm not buying alcohol, sorry-" I started to walk out of the kitchen.

"Y/n!" I covered Yelena's mouth and then her lick my hand, I moved it away and ran to the sink, "Are you crazy?!" I tried not to shout at her, but even if I did it wouldn't phase her.

Just as of right now she stood there with almost no emotion, "Fine! But why me?" I asked, "Because you look of age and wont get in trouble-"

Is this what life as a teen had come to? Being used to buy alcohol and drugs for others? "Anything specific?" I asked, "Oh yeah Mary or whatever her name is left a list." Now a list? She gave me a little note with what to get, I never thought of new years being this crazy I guess you would say. I looked at the sticky note.

"This will be the end of me.." I thought to myself, "And here's a fake idea just incase-" Yelena pushed a card on the counter towards me. I took it and put it in my pocket going to the living room, "Hey, uh I'm going out. Do you need anything?" I asked Y/n, "No.. but I can text you if I remember anything if you want-" she smiled a little, I nodded. "Ok then, I'll be back." And without realizing or thinking about it I kissed her on the cheek and left.

I got to the nearest grocery store that was by the house, from what I've heard the people that worked at that one were chill. When I was about to get out my phone went off, I checked it and saw that it Yelena. Wait, I had her number?

Yelena:

You can come back

What are you talking about? You said I had to go to the store just now?

Yeah, the others are back and got it

Ok?

That was odd to me, but I didn't want to do this in the first place. I drove back home and sat in the car for a minute before going in, maybe I could just OD on pills after everyone went to sleep, or I should say passing out from being drunk.

But I wasn't sure about Y/n, she didn't seem the type to drink, or ever drink. But then again she just pretty much opened up to me yesterday. Would anyone miss me? Would my mom even come back home if she somehow found out?

Y/n.. I put my head on the steering wheel knowing I couldn't leave her. Life wasn't fair, and it'd be better to just leave the world for good. But I was held back by Y/n, she was the only one who cared about me now, other than Sarah. But she was also gone, because of me..
