Jealousy (Enchantment QG x Female!Reader)

Requested by kalego07. Jealous Enchantment who has some beef with Prophecy. And you, the reader, comforts grumpy bf ;)

"Hi Prophecy!"

Enchantment watched as you run off to go greet the prophecy questgiver. He grumbled in annoyance when you and Prophecy began to chat. He tried not to pay any attention to any of it, but he always found himself looking back at you and Prophecy. He really hoped that the trip to the Isle of Dawn would be quick, but no, it just couldn't be that way.

Enchantment knew you were his, and only his. You would never leave him. The both of you made a promise to each other to stick together, no matter the consequences. But he still felt the constant nagging of jealousy. He never liked Prophecy for some reason. Maybe he was easily intimidated by his tall stature and authority? Or of how cold he can be? Whatever the reason, Enchantment especially didn't like how you and the other questgiver were so close to each other. He growled when Prophecy gave you a hug and you laughed, his jealousy going up the roof. 

That's it.

Enchantment stomped over to your direction and hugged you from behind, his grip a bit too strong. He shot a glare at Prophecy. Prophecy glared back.  

"Woah! Enchantment! What are you-" Enchantment cut you off. "We're about to leave now." He quipped, his glare never leaving Prophecy. "We are?" You asked, but Enchantment ignored you.

"Oh, that's unfortunate. I thought you would stay a little longer." Prophecy said, almost mocking the enchantment questgiver. This only made Enchantment angrier.

"Yeah, well, you thought wrong. Now if you don't mind, me and my girlfriend are going now." He snapped, putting emphasis on 'my'. "Good day Mr. Anubis." He smirked, knowing that nickname he gives always ticks Prophecy off. 

Prophecy's gaze sharpened. "I thought I told you not to call me that." 

"And do I look like I care?" Enchantment retorted.

You were able to get out of Enchantment's grip, and you got between the two questgivers. "Alright! Let's not fight here, haha..." You laughed nervously, looking back and forth of the two. You grabbed Enchantment's wrist and began to walk towards the exit of the cave. "We'll be going now then. Sorry to cut this short Prophecy, but see you again!" Prophecy contorted his frown to a warm smile, as if all the displeasure from earlier disappeared. "Farewell (Y/N)! Hope to see you soon." You smiled and waved back, before exiting the cave with Enchantment.

Once you and your boyfriend were out, you asked sternly, "Ok, what was that about?" 

"About what?"

"You know what I mean!" You gave him a hurt look. "You pulled me away from the conversation with Prophecy. I know you don't like him, but why did you that?" 

Enchantment suddenly felt guilty of his actions. He shouldn't have done that. You were just talking with a friend, no harm no foul. "I just, didn't like how close you were with Prophecy." He spat out the name like it was poison. 

"Is that why? You're just jealous?" You queried. 

Enchantment sighed. He didn't want to admit it, "I suppose..." 

You shook your head and formed a small smile. "Oh Enchantment..." You gently grabbed his face and stared at him, making him blush. "There's no need to be jealous. I'm yours after all. Prophecy is a nice guy, but he's not you. I love you Enchantment, so much. Never forget that. Ok? You can be so silly sometimes..." You fondly reminded him, kissing him on the nose.

Enchantment suddenly held you by the waist and kissed you on your lips. You yelped in surprise, but you quickly gave in the passionate moment. You both pulled apart, foreheads touching, and laughed. After the laughter died down, Enchantment stared back at you with loving eyes. 

"I love you."

"I love you too. Just, try not to get so jealous next time."

"No promises."
