"So what's your brother like?"
You asked Rhythm, who was leading you to a passageway connecting from the Village of Dreams. Apparently, he was taking you to one of his twin brother's performances. A 3 act play. Rhythm seemed to ponder for a moment before answering, "He's definitely not me. Haha!" He joked while you rolled your eyes from behind him. "No, I'm being serious here. What's he really like?" You asked again, as your friend's laughter reduced to chuckles. This time he actually answered. "Out of the two of us, he's definitely the more flamboyant. He always has to go extra with special occasions, and won't stop until he's done with preparation. Because once he has an idea, he will not take a break until said idea is completed." Rhythm said.
"Wow, he kind of sounds like you. Except more uptight and hardworking." You added, a sly look on your face. Rhythm gave your shoulder a playful nudge. "Hey, I work hard. How dare you." He replied with a look of fake hurt in his expression. You just giggled.
"Other than that, he's a pretty nice person once he get to know him. Just watch out for his boasting. The man doesn't stop rambling about his quote on quote, 'Fantastic group of performers'." Rhythm air quoted and looked slightly upset. "Are you jealous?~ That your brother is much better than leading his own troupe?" You teased. He glared at you, but you could see red forming in his cheeks all the way to his ears. He straighten his posture and cleared his throat. "I am not jealous of my twin. That would be petty of me. And! He's not better than me, we just have different skills with our performances." You let out a little snicker. "Suree.." It was now Rhythm's turn to roll his eyes.
"Anyways, we're here now." You did a little jump of excitement as you and Rhythm arrived at your destination. The Village Theater! You instantly recognized spirits from the ice rink, the Citadel, and the Village of Dreams. "C'mon!" You yanked Rhythm's sleeve, making him yelp with surprise as you find a place to sit among the spirits. Some of them waved to you and you replied with your own warm greetings. The lights of the theater dimmed to a soft glow, and chattering among spirits slowly died away as the Peeking Postman shushed them to be quiet and the crowd complied. You and Rhythm intently watched the red curtains part as the play had begun. The set looked to be the Prairie Temple.
A spot light flickered on and walked in a tall man, wearing a black cape with golden fabric underneath and a penguin mask with the same colors. He had the infamous 'owl hair' that Rhythm would always talk about if the topic was brought up. Except it seemed to be more thicker and longer. He looked so much like Rhythm, that you almost thought that your friend had left you and was there on stage. The more you observed, you found he was quite handsome. You thought he had made eye contact with you, which made your heart skip a beat.
"Checking him out already?"
You snapped your head to your owl haired friend, your cheeks heating up. "No...I-I'm just realizing how much you two look alike. Others could mistake you and him." You whispered slowly. "Yeah. We used to do a lot of pranks to mess with people. He would dress up like me, and I'd dress up like him. One time, we tricked mom for two whole days!" Rhythm smiled at the memory.
