Another one for our man, Performance :) Ronin Dreams, or famously known as Master Performance, has done a magnificent presentation with his troupe! Now, he must attend a gala where he meets you and offers a dance.

Key things:

(Y/N) is your name.

This takes place during the time before the skykid era, thousands of years ago.

You are part of a very wealthy family, which is close to royalty in Sky's standards (as Alef is considered to be true royalty, being the sole prince of the kingdom).

Performance uses the nickname "Princet" (gender-neutral term for prince/princess) for the reader ;)

Enjoy!

"Sir, your bow..!"

Modest Dancer's words almost didn't get to the troupe leader, and realized he was just standing there awkwardly. He quickly bowed and the crowd roared with excitement and claps after witnessing a fantastic performance. The troupe master's face formed a large grin, as he couldn't believe he and his group were able to pull off such a big feat. Bouquets and confetti were thrown at their feet in celebration.

Performance followed his friends backstage and they all cheered with one another.

"Oh my Bird, we did it guys!" Cried Forgetful Storyteller.

"Go us!" Modest Dancer pumped a fist into the air.

"That went a lot more splendidly than the rehearsals!" Said Frantic Stagehand, swiping off a bead of sweat from his forehead.

"Everybody, I just want to say," The Mellow Guitarist started, his head lowered. The other members peered at him curiously, until he swung his arms around them. "THAT WE DID NOT JUST ACE THAT SHOW. LET'S GO!" He yelled with pride, and the group laughed with him.

Performance irked a smile at his troupe, feeling all sorts of happiness flowing through him. Bird, he was so proud. "Great work gang!" He started to compliment on everyone's skills.

"Storyteller, wonderful poem, I have to say it's one of your best works! The crowd was moved! Modest, your choreography truly shined. Stagehand, you were very quick to change the background, the lighting, and props! And Mellow, that guitar and singing solo was beautiful."

The performers gushed and awe'd at their master's words. "Aww, boss! C'mere!" Modest pulled him into a large hug, the rest joining in. "We couldn't have done it without you, sir!" Stagehand happily said. "Okay! Okay, give me some room...!" He amused, but the hug on went a little longer.

The red curtain was drawn back and walked in one of the gala planners, holding a stone tablet. The group dispersed their hug and listened to what the attendant had to say. "Sorry to interrupt the moment, but I just want to let you know that the party will start in about an hour. It should be enough time to freshen up a bit. Very good show by the way." She said, and walked away.

Performance turned to his troupe and smirked. "You guys up for some celebrating?"

They all agreed excitedly and went to prepare. Performance was equally ecstatic to attend the party, knowing that there was going to be a very special someone he was looking forward to seeing again.

You despised galas.

They were such an inconvenience to you. It's long and boring. Even more when wearing uncomfortable clothing. People flock towards you the moment your arrival has been announced. Conversations lead up to talking about themselves, not giving you a second to speak. No, you didn't want to hear about their fine share of wares. No, you did not want to know how excellent their children exceeded in their studies. The bragging is non-stop. It doesn't seem to bother the rest of your family, they loved the attention. Your siblings especially. You see your sister buttering up some lord and your brother laughing with other families' kids his age.
