Cuddles and Visitor!

*Time Jump*

It was about a quarter way into the movie when I was practically getting scared. It was still dark outside, so that didn't help. Not. One. Bit. I jumped and squealed, and put my head in my lap so I wouldn't squeal again. I felt someone's hand go on my back, so I jumped again.
"Sorry Dani! I didn't mean to scare you!" Mitch said. Thank the lord it was him.
"I-it's o-okay." I stuttered. He pulled me into a hug. I felt safe, in his arms, so I did what I only had to do. I snuggled up against him. BOOM! Did you just hear that? If you did, that was my heart exploding.

*Mitch's POV*

I felt the weight on the couch falter for a second, then heard Dani squeal. I looked over at her, and she looked down into her lap. I heard her breathing get faster. I moved closer to her, and softly put my hand on her back. She jumped, so I spoke to her. I was doing what I've always wanted to do, ever since I laid my eyes on her picture.
"Sorry Dani! I didn't mean to scare you!" I chocked out, just above a whisper. Stupid! I should have said something sweet to her!
"I-it's o-okay." Dani stutered. I hate to see her like this, so I did the first thing that came to my mind. I pulled her into a soft hug. I comforted her. I started whispering 'Shhhh' and 'It's okay' into her ear, and swayed back and forth. She was shaking quite a lot before, but now she wasn't.
"I turned it off, it's over now. It's not real. Don't say anything. Shhh....." I said, still swaying back and forth softly. She just cuddled up against me more.

*Dani's POV*

He was cradling me, and whispering 'Shhhh' and 'It's okay' into my ear. "I turned it off, it's over now. It's not real. Don't say anything. Shhh....." Mitch whipered to me. I didn't say a word, I just cuddled u against him more. He was so comforting. I felt more safe than I ever have in my entire life. My eyelids finally began to get heavy, so I closed them. I thought about my future, what I'm actually going to do with my life. Oh! I forgot my small little YouTube channel... oops? I need to make a video soon... And with those thoughts, I drifted off into a blissful, black silence, in the safety of Mitch's arms.

*Mitch's POV*

Dani was probably really tired, so she shut her eyes. Her breathing steadied, and she gave out a little snore. I knew she was asleep now, but I was still holding her. I don't know why, but this just felt right. Awwww even when she was asleep, she looked really cute. I kept watching her for what felt like hours, but only was only minutes. Soon enough, my eyes started getting heavy and I too, fell into the darkness of thought.

*Time Jump*

*Patti's (the neighbor's) POV*

I had called Kaitlin, Dani's BFFAE, the day before Dani's birthday. Kaitlin and I had arranged for her to come to Dani's house the day after her birthday. Kaitlin had to finish some college school work, so he said she'd be here the day after Dani's birthday. I was perfectly fine with that. Dani would be so suprised! Back to today now. I was up, and I was walking over to Dani's house for her morning wake-up call. She always asked me to do this for the summer. I didn't bother knocking, she always had her door unlocked, and I never did anyway. I always just walked in. And when I did this time, I couldn't be more suprised in my whole life! She wasn't in her bed, like she always was. She was on the couch. With someone. And that someone was a guy. She never mentioned a boyfriend before, because she never had one. Did get drunk last night? No, she never liked alcohol. Did she go to a party? Never in her life, she never liked them. She also didn't have many friends. I didn't recognize him, so he isn't one of Dani's friends. She tells me everything. They looked cute, though. I couldn't disturb them. I very quietly walked over, took out my phone, and snapped a small picture. They were on the couch, cuddling. They had Paranormal Activity on the coffee table, so I'm guessing they watched that last night. Hmmmm.... He had his arms held tightly around her waist, and she was nuzzled into him. I bet they were really comfortable. I walked out, quietly closed the door, and walked back to my calm, quiet apartment with a smile on my face.

*Kaitlin's POV*

I was so excited! I finally get to see my BFFAE, Dani, after a whole year without her! I was leaving college for the summer to stay at Dani's place. I knew Kayla was in Ireland, so I could probably stay in her room. I left yesterday, and I just got into a cab to get to Dani's house. She was going to be so suprised and shocked. I can see her face now.... Ah, how I love this girl. I was her first ever friend, and she was my first friend too. We've been through everything together. You know the saying that is "Tell friend your greatest adventures; live those great adventures with your best friend"? If you do, that was completely true for us. When I say we went through everything together, I mean it. When we were 2 years young, we went on our first Halloween hunt together, and pissed our pants (A/N: true story, don't judge us :3), we crashed our bikes together, and did so many firsts together. We mostly got hurt, but that's our life. We always cared for each other. When I was sick, she came over and took care of me, and I did the same for her. When she moved out of her mothers house at the age of 14, her sister moved with her. We stayed in touch, and saw each other a couple of times, until I went to college. I was a year older than Dani, so I had just started college this year. I was seeing her after a year! Finally! I was checking my phone, *cough cough, Instagram, cough cough.* when we had arrived. I was extremely exited to see her! I wonder what happened over the year... I guess I'll find out soon enough. I walked up to Patti's door, and knocked. She answered and smiled at me.
"Kaitlin! You're here! I haven't seen you in so long!" Patti said.
"I know! I can't wait to catch up on things! What's been going on for you?" I asked. And with that, we caught up on things within 5 minutes. "Not to be any bit of rude here, but can I go over to Dani's house now?" I asked, trying to be as polite as I can.
"Yeas, you may. Make sure to not make much noise though. She might still be sleeping. Don't sit on the couch, either. Go straight to Kayla's bedroom and get comfortable, then go out." Patti explained. I nodded my head.
"Why can't I sit on the couch, though?" I asked.
"Here." Patti said, and then showed me a picture. Oh, my, god? Is this her boyfriend?
"Is this her.... you know...?" I asked suprised.
"No, she doesn't have one. I was suprised to, because she tells me everything. I don't know him either, maybe he's new." Patti stated.
"I need to go over. Now. Bye Patti!" I said, grabbing my things and rushing out Patti's door. I walked to Dani's place, and slowly walked in from the sliding door. Sure enough, there they were, cuddled together on the couch. I tiptoed over to Kayla's room to get situated. When I did, they were still sleeping. I walked over, took out my phone, and snapped a picture. They were cute though. I tiptoed back to Kayla's room with the picture on my phone, and a smile on my face.
