"Shhh." Click. Giggles irrupted from the room.
        "Shhh! Don't wake them up."
        "They are so-"
"Shhh." I felt Mitch move, and his head was hurried in my shoulder. I lightly smiled.
"They might be waking up soon..."
        "1..... 2....... 3!" I heard someone shout.
"WAKEY WAKEY SLEEPY HEADS!" I jumped up, and so did Mitch. His hand was still around my waist, but somehow we ended under the covers, so no one saw. I felt my cheeks heat up a bit, but so small no one would notice. I looked at everyone surrounding us. I lastly looked at my friends, and they were smirking. I shot a glare at them.
"I am going to kill you two." I said, eyeing my friends and my voice cracking throughout the sentence. "Now everyone. Shoo!"
"Yeah yeah." Kaitlin said as she walked out.
"Shut up." I said just before she left. "Hey Mitch. I want to talk to you."
"Yeah Danielle? What do you want to talk about?" Mitch asked.
"Umm.... I-i wanted t-to know what we are." I stuttered through the sentence. "Are we like, a thing, or are we just super-über-mega best friends?"
"I never though about that." Mitch replied. "Well, I've wanted to ask you this, but since it has come down to a choice right now, will you go on a date with me?" Mitch asked.
"Hmmm....." I bit my lip, pretending to think. "Yes, I will."
"Well then, get ready. I was hoping you would say yes, so I kinda planned things." Mitch said as he walked towards the door. I smiled, and nodded my head. I grabbed somewhat fancy yet 'me' clothes, and got dressed ( http://www.polyvore.com/first_date/set?id=123205314 ). I then did my makeup, which wasn't that long. In total, I think I took about 20-25 minutes. I walked out of my bedroom, and I saw that everyone was in the living room. Except Mitch.
"Hi guys." I said as I sat down. "Where's Mitch?" I asked.
"He's getting ready for the 'date'. He'll probably be here in a couple of minutes." Avi said, putting air quotes around date.
"You do realize that the supposed 'date' is with me, right Avi?" I asked him.
"Yeah. With the way you two a-" Avi said, but got cut off by Kirstie smacking his arm.
"Hush, Avi." Kirstie said, making me laugh. She gave me a 'what?' look, and I just have her a look that said 'I'll tell you later'. I heard a knock at the door, so I got up and said "I'll get it." I rushed to the door and opened it to see a very well dressed Mitch with flowers in his hand.
"For you, kitten. Beautiful flowers for a beautiful girl." Mitch said, handing me the flowers. ( this was his outfit -> http://www.polyvore.com/mitchs_clothes_for_date/set?id=123207927 )
"Than you Mitch. You look ravashing." I said, taking the flowers and putting them on the table. "Someone please make sure to put the wonderful flowers in some water while we're gone. Thanks."
"Well, why you look beautiful, no, amazing." Mitch complimented me. I felt my cheeks heat up, so I looked down. When I looked back up, I thanked him, and he held out his arm. I linked mine with his, and walked out the door. I shut it behind me, and walked with Mitch to the car ( http://imganuncios.mitula.net/rare_pacific_blue_05_jaguar_xk8_convertible_low_miles_96635312372163745.jpg ).
         "Wow." I whispered.
"I know. I'm renting it for today." Mitch said. He ran over to the passenger side and opened the door for me.
"Thank you. Such a gentlemen." I said, in a posh accent. I got into the car, and Mitch shut the door. He rushed over to the drivers side, and got in too. He put the key in the ignition, and started the car.
"So, where are we going?" I asked.
"Sorry, but it's a secret." Mitch replied.  "I think you'll like it though."
"Well, you dressed a bit fancy. I just wanted to know. I'm a very curious person." I replied. Mitch just smiled.
"Here. Put this on." Mitch said, handing me a blindfold.
"Do I have to?" I whined.
         "Yes, you do."
         "But-"
"No buts. Put it on please. It's a secret place."
"Fineeeee. But this better be worth it." I placed the blindfold over my eyes and tied it at the back of my head. I heard the wind in my ears, so I knew we were driving now. I felt my hair being pushed back, and I smiled. It was nice on the road...
About 5-10 minutes later Mitch told me I was able to take off my blindfold. I did just so, and when my eyes got used to the bright light of the sun, I saw where we were.
"Oh. My. God. Mitch! This is like my most favorite restaurant of all time! How did you know?" I asked him excitedly. How did he know that I absolutely loved Silver Stallion?
"I took a wild guess, considering that it was close by and cheap." Mitch answered. Well, you can't be more right. It is the closest and the cheapest real restaurant near me.
"You are completely right." I replied. Mitch got out and ran over to my side of the car again. He opened the door for me, so I got out and thanked him again. We walked towards the doors, and went inside.
"Danielle? Is that you?" the person behind the counter asked.
"Oh my goodness! Greg! I haven't seen you in so long! How have you been?" I asked.
"I'm good. How are you? It's nice to see you after so long." Greg replied.
         "I'm fine. How's business?" I asked.
"Doing great. So, the regular? Or...." Greg replied.
"Not today. I'm here for something special." I said.
"I see. So who's the lucky guy?" Greg asked. I felt my cheeks heat up so much, that I probably looked like a tomato.
"Me." Mitch said behind me, and I felt his hand wrap around my shoulders.
"You are one lucky guy. I've know this one right here," Greg said, pointing to me. "since she was little enough for me to hold her." At this point I wanted to die. My face was burning, and I just wanted to get out of this situation.
"Well, I would love to stay and chat, but we have a date to get to." I said, sighing.
"Okay. So table or booth?" Greg asked, and I answered immediately.
"Booth, please." Greg nodded and led us to the corner booth. My favorite booth. I scooched into one side of it, and Mitch scooched into the other.
"So... Who was that?" Mitch asked, as soon as Greg left.
"His name is Greg. His is one of the two owners of this restaurant, and as he said, I've known him since I was very little. I was a regular customer, with my sister, grandmother, and my mom." I explained. "Greg is Greek, but he has all different types of food here." Mitch nodded his head, and just before he was going to speak, a waitress appeared.
"Hi! My name is Alex and I will be your waitress for today. Are you ready to order?" Alex asked. She looked up from her notepad and smiled at us.
"Hello Alex. We may need a few more minutes please." I said, and smiled. She nodded her head and walked off.
"Okay. So what would you like to drink Danielle?" Mitch asked me.
"Kiddie Cocktail! I always had it, and always will have it. As long as I go here." I stated.
"I'm guessing you want some cherries in that too." Mitch stayed back.
"Have you been stalking me or something? How do you know almost everything?" I asked, suprised he knew. What? I like cherries.
"It is sprite mixed with cherry juice. So there has to be cherries somewhere." Mitch replied. I nodded, because he was being logical. Alex walked back over to our table.
"Would you like to order?" she asked nicely.
"Yes, we would. Thank you. We'll have one Kiddie Cocktail, one Pepsi, and one small spaghetti." Mitch replied. I nodded, confirming the order. Alex wrote down our order and walked off.
"So cheesy Mitch. Be glad I'm a hopeless romantic." I playfully remarked. Mitch smirked.
"I thought it would be perfect." Mitch said, acting hurt a bit.
"Well, it is pretty cute." I stated, smiling. Mitch smiled his perfect smile right back.

*skipping to meal*

Alex came over with a tray in her hand, and it was our meal. She set the tray down and put everything on the table.
"Thank you." I said, and she nodded and walked off. I took my drink and put a straw in it. I took a sip, but then noticed that the cherries were on the bottom of the cup. I groaned, and began poking around with my straw. I finally got a cherry, and just when it was about to get to the top, it fell off. I mentally groaned, but kept fishing for it anyway.
"Having fun there?" Mitch asked, chuckling.
"Very." I replied, still fishing. I closed my eyes and randomly poked. I opened them again, and somehow I poked all three. I slowly brought them to the top. i got it out of the drink, and put them on a small plate.
"Yay! You did it!" Mitch teased, and I glared at him.
"If you want one you better keep your mouth shut." I replied. He quickly stopped laughing. "Thank you. You may take one."
"Thank you, beautiful." Mitch replied, and I felt heat find it's way to my cheeks.  I looked back down at our food. "Now don't hide your beautiful face. I want to see it. Please?" he said. I heard his voice go into one of those 'pretty pretty please?' tones. I sighed, and looked back up.
"Happy?" I replied, a bit annoyed. He nodded. I shook my head. He can be such a child at some times.

*Skipping to after meal cause NOTHING HAPPENED!!!*

"So I have something else for you." Mitch said as we headed out the doors.
        "Really?" I asked.
"Yes, but you need to put the blindfold on again." I mentally groaned, but nodded anyways. I now know that Mitch has the second best suprises. Next to my step-dad. Normal routine of the car, and I put the blindfold on.
"It might take a while to get there though, so probably you should get comfortable with the blindfold on." Mitch told me as he started the car. I sighed.  I sat back and let the sweet hum of the wind blowing my hair around. I smiled at the thought of it.

*Mitch's POV*

Today has been going great so far. At least I planned to have one more suprise. I glanced over at Danielle, and she looked beautiful with her hair flowing in the wind. She started smiling.
"What are you smiling at?" I asked.
"Nothing, just a thought." she replied.
"Okay. We're almost there." I said. Danielle smiled even bigger and put her right hand into the air.
"WE ARE ALMOST TO NARNIA!!" she screamed out, putting her hand into a fist and raising it higher. I laughed.
