Girls Night..? (Part Two)

~~~
"Hey, where's Kirstie?" Avi asked, looking around at each of the guys. Mitch shrugged a bit, turning his attention to his phone. Twitter was open and he was constantly getting mentions. Some like 'Where did you guys go?', 'How are you holding up?', or 'Upload some more vids pls!!'
Sighing as he looked up, he watched Scott shrug and Kevin put on a thinking face.
"Don't know. Hey, do any of y'all know if Danielle came back over?" Mitch inquired.
"I believe earlier she came back over, asked where Kirstie was, and then left with Kirstie," Avi answered, "What's your concern?" He smirked a bit. Mitch blushed ever so slightly.
"Just wanted to know, to be safe..." Mitch brushed off easily, trying to hide his mis-hidden emotion for the girl.
~~~

"I don't think that's just it, Mitch." Scott teased. Mitch blushed even more, staring ahead at the group. He was thinking of words to say, but he could not get anything out of his mouth.

"Cat's got your tongue, eh?" Kevin smiled, nudging the speechless man.

"N-no.." Mitch tried denying, but was too late. Everyone knew it was true; he did like her. He even knew it. But he wouldn't let himself fall so easily.

"I wouldn't blame you if it were true, I mean, she's pretty hot." Avi added. Mitch stared at him with small daggers in his eyes. He did not like what Avi thought about her; she was almost his.

"Don't," He warned Avi.

"What? It's true; you know it."

I laughed as Kaitlin made a joke about some guy at her school.

"Really? He did that?" Kirstie asked, grinning.

"Yup!" Kaitlin answered, being all bubbly.

"What time is it?" Brit asked, and I looked at the clock.

"Around... Midnight," I answered, rubbing my eyes a bit.

"Sleepover!" Kaitlin announced, and I smiled a bit.

"I'll get you clothes, Kirstie." Brit smiled over at her.

To shorten this up, Brit brought Kirstie clothes that she would wear, and I offered my bed to Kirstie. She denied, but I pushed her in it anyways. Harsh, I know, but my bed's comfortable.

"Lights out, guys! Night," I called, to the semi-dark apartment, from the couch. I heard a few calls back, and laid down.

It was an exciting day, and I must add, one of the best I've had.

~~~~~~~~
"Mitch!" I screamed out, struggling against the restraints that held me tight to the frigid, metal bed. "Mitch! Where are you! Mitch!"
I continued to struggle, the rope that held me giving me small cuts and burns. I ignored the pain as I tried screaming out his name once more, but my voice stopped. Completely gave out. Mentally sighing, I struggled some more, and a shock was went through me.
I tried screaming in pain, but it all came out in a harsh, scraggly squeak. It was exactly like I was burning in a furnace; though it would not stop!
"Struggling won't help you, Danielle," A deep voice chuckled. A switch turned on, and a blinding light flashed upon me. "This is only the beginning."
~~~~~~~~

I gasped, jolting awake. My eyes were not adjusted to the dark space of the living room. My hand shakily reached up to my cheeks, apparently dripping with a few salty tears.

"No," I whispered, "No, no.. " I wipe my cheeks quickly, sitting up and running a hand through my hair. My eyes adjust to the dark room slowly and I look at the clock; 4:30 A.m. I groaned quietly and got up. I walked to the kitchen and turned on a small lamp I keep on the counter.

Opening the fridge, I grabbed a fruit cup and got a spoon from the utensil drawer. I tried to be quiet, not to wake anyone up, and sat on the counter. I opened the fruit cup and sipped the liquid out, then started eating the fruit. My eyes wandered around the small kitchen space before noticing a figure out of the 'dining room' window. I was kind of scared, but I thought it was just my imagination.

Finishing the cup, I threw away the plastic container and placed my spoon in the sink. I turned off the lamp, sighing. I made my way to the bathroom and turned on the light, getting blinded for a minute. I rubbed my eyes gingerly and closed the door behind me, sitting on the closed toilet seat. I put my head in my hands and sighed, tired but knowing I won't be able to fall back asleep.

"God dammit..." I muttered, looking through my fingers at the mirror. "Why is it always me?" I sighed, turning on the sink and cupping my hands. I let the water run through my fingers a bit before splashing it on my face. Nope, I definitely was not going back to sleep.

It's definitely better for me to just stay awake anyways...
