By now, four years passed, Loki and Minerva were 12. As Minerva was older than Loki by a few months, her birthday was coming up. They knew it, and as such, Eloise and Vivienne started working together to get Minerva ready for her turning 13. "Minerva, you can not visit Loki anymore, not after you turn 13."
"I remember what Vivienne said about how my powers would start kicking in once I turn thirteen. I just want to spend the rest of my normal childhood not worrying about my powers." She complained. You see, being a Drelkie was half a curse and half not. On one end, she had a lot of power, but on the other end, that unchecked power would lead to destruction large enough to destroy one of the Nine Realms.
"Then when you turn thirteen, you will have to limit the time you have with Loki. Your powers will grow immensely, and you may end up hurting the boy if you are not careful." Eloise warned, which she could see the fear growing on her face. "I know that is not what you want, so I can tell you there is a way to prevent it."
"Vivienne," Eloise turned to the woman suddenly, which made the child look between them both. "Promise me when she trains in Svatelfheim that no harm comes to her. I remember my duties as former leader, as former queen, and I know how harsh training will be on her."
"I promise by my life that no harm comes to her. But she will not be home for three to five days each time she is to train. I want her to live a normal childhood, too, but if she does not train her abilities, everyone on Asgard could die. That is how powerful she is and could be." Vivienne reminded, which Minerva took in the information, but remained silent.
"I just did not think she would go through this sort of thing so quickly," she muttered before looking back at her child. "Minerva, play with Loki, but you may only have a few days before you have to start training. Use the free days to the best of your abilities." Eloise gave a sad smile as the child nodded.
"I will, thanks mom," she beamed before rushing toward the door. Once she left, she rushed toward the castle, hoping to see her friend again.

As she made her way to the garden, she could see a little girl sitting near the pond, which caught her attention. She knew of two sons of Asgard, but not a daughter. However, the thing that threw Minerva off was the girl wore clothes of the prince.
Sitting beside her, Minerva glanced over to the girl and held her hand out. "I am Minerva," she greeted, though as the girl turned and looked to her, Minnie could place why she was familiar. "Loki, is that you?" She asked in curiosity.
"I just wanted to try something," he admitted shyly, though she did not seem to mind.
"No no, I do not mind, you look amazing. I did not know you were genderfluid, you look great! I feel as though something else is on your mind, isn't it?" She asked as she glanced at the pond again.
"I want to be more open about it, but each time I try, either my father does not approve or Thor looks at me strangely." She answered, which Minnie thought for a moment.
"What about your mother, Frigga? What does she think of genderfluidity?" She asked as she picked up one of the water lilies.
"I have not shown her yet, nor have I mentioned it to her at all. Do you really think I look okay?" Her insecurity over her appearance was notable, but Minnie nodded regardless. Waving her hand over the water lily caused it to open up in her hand. Placing it back on the water's surface, she continued.
"You look amazing, Loki." She beamed, though that emotion faded after she remembered what her mother and Vivienne talked about. "When I turn thirteen, we cannot hang out as much as we used to." She started, though Loki could tell there was something else wrong.
