"Minerva? Minerva!" Her mother called as the child landed in the treetops. Seeing her child come down into the house, she glanced at the child, smiling with glee. "What have I told you about leaving the house?"

"You told me not to do it anymore. I'm sorry, mom," she apologized, yet her wings flapped around in happiness. "I won't do it again."

"Liar. Why do you keep meeting the boy? You two have nothing in common, and please don't tell me you're planning on seeing him again." the woman knew this wouldn't be an issue if Minerva stayed home. However, knowing she was still a child, listening wasn't one of her best qualities.

"But he's one of my friends, momma! Despite what I look like, he still hangs out with me!" Minnie didn't want to drop a friend so quickly, and knowing his abnormalities, the two would hit it off.

"You can't keep meeting up with the prince, okay? You keep forgetting that neither of us looks normal. I love you, my baby, I do, but if you're going to keep friends with him, meeting wouldn't be the best way to see one another." Eloise knew children were stubborn, but considering both of them weren't fully Asgardian and had the features to prove it.

"Then can I learn magic? Please?" Minnie asked as she hugged her mother's waist. There wasn't much she could do to convincer her mother, but seeing as magic ran through the bones of every Drelkie, not learning it would've been more dangerous.

"So long as you would not use it recklessly, I'll teach you the basics," Eloise knew there was a difference between power, spells and magic. If she taught her child a spell the girl couldn't handle, several things would happen.

"Are we going to Svartalfheim to practice? I know practicing magic on Asgard could draw attention." How Minnie knew that would still boggle her mother's mind.

"How do you know about the dead realm? I haven't taught you it, and they haven't covered it in school," if her child knew about realms, though she hadn't been taught them yet, Eloise didn't know what else Minerva could know.

"I just feel people like me there," she answered.

"Then yes, we'll be going to Svartalfheim. There's another way past the Bifrost. I know I've taught you how to fly, so think of this as another flying lesson." Grabbing one of the cloaks, Eloise placed it over Minerva's head. "You haven't quite mastered your cloaking abilities, so I'll lead you there, but I can't let anyone see you."

"Do not worry, mom," she assured before hearing the door open. Feeling her mother's hands pick her up, she rests on Eloise's back before they moved.

Once the two made it to the mountains, she let Minerva off her back and set the cloak into her bag. "Here it is," Eloise smiled before rolling her shoulders, letting her wings out. "Since it's not the widest space, I want you to follow me in case anything happens."

As Eloise flew from the ground, Minerva did the same. Flying between the rocks, both of them flew fast enough to teleport between Asgard and Svartalfheim. As the two arrived, they didn't stop until they saw a high point in the air. "I've wanted to show you this for a while, but I wasn't sure if you were ready."

"I don't understand. What is this place?" Minnie asked her mother as she watched the woman dive into the tunnel. "Why am I hearing so many voices?" She muttered to herself before copying her mother's actions. As Eloise reached the bottom of the tunnel, she turned upright and landed on her feet with ease.

Minnie tried doing the same, but almost lost her footing. Luckily, Eloise caught her before she could fall on her face. "If you haven't already noticed, we're home. This is the home of the Drelkie, of our kind."
