"What's wrong mama?"
"When I get home, I'm choking yo sister."
"Which one?"
"Brooklyn."
I sighed and sat down with her in the lounge chair.
"What happened now?"
"She supposed to be with my mama and daddy since she on punishment and they're stricter. Her ass lied and told them I said she can go to Jayceon house. I'm not boo boo the fool I know Jayceon let y'all do whatever the fuck ever."
I nodded because he do.
"She think she fucking slick and I'm sick of it. I'm not sure why she going through this rebellious bull shit but I am not the one."
"Maybe she going through some stuff."
I really didn't give a fuck but I'm trying to help her.
"I've tried everything DJ. I begged her to talk to me. I even try to make y'all spend time with her."
"Yeah you gotta stop that mama."
"What's the issue?"
"I don't wanna get into all that."
"DJ. Be honest with me please because I know y'all wouldn't isolate Brooklyn for this long."
I sighed real hard and wiped my hand down my face.
"The night me and Loyal got arrested at the party was because Brooklyn told the police we did everything."
"Was y'all arguing or something?"
"No. She did the sh-stuff out of nowhere. We was trying to leave and she stopped the cops and told them we was the ones shooting snd started the fight and she half lied because they started with us and it got out of hand and I shot the shot. But when she did that our relationship ain't been the same. And I know we used to make fun of her and stuff but we do that with everybody including each other so she can't use that as an excuse to be an opp mama." I spat.
Every time I think about that bullshit it pisses me off.
"Why you didn't tell me or yo daddy?"
"Despite Brooklyn's beliefs I care about her feelings and if Pops found out she did that he would hurt her feelings because you know how Pops is and I didn't tell you because you were already stressed about us being in that situation. I was over it."
"It's one thing to snitch in the house but it's another thing to bring the outside in it especially the cops. I may understand she may have thought she was doing the right thing but with her actions lately she seem like she trynna drag y'all down and I, us the family in general have too much going on for Brooklyn to be that way. Imma have to talk to yo daddy when we leave here." She sighed and got teary eye.
