Tired.

Aggravated.

Boredom.

That's all I feel each day.

Each day this fucking lady ask me the same question and my answer is the same every day.

How do you feel?

I want to be anywhere but fucking here, that's how the fuck I feel.

Sick of the shit.

I rather be fucking high.

"We can't get anywhere if you don't express yourself Brooklyn." She fixed the glasses on her face.

"I am expressing myself, it's just not what you wanna hear Dr. Martin."

She nodded and wrote in her notes.

"Tell me about your childhood."

"What about it?

"Whatever you wanna tell me."

I thought about it.

I missed being a kid.

It was no pressure, it was just all of about having fun.

The world around me wasn't grey.

Even if things were happening the naive mindset a child has couldn't comprehend too much sadness.

A child who is brought up in happiness, could see the happiness in anything.

"It was pretty normal up until my mama had cancer." I frowned thinking about it. "She had died. I seen her when she died."

"You seen her? Would you like to explain?"

"When I was younger I had a tendency to see Angels. My siblings, Ms. Tammy, and when my mama heart stopped she told me to tell everybody it'll be okay. But I don't think she believed it because she came back."

"When did you stop being able to communicate with the Angels?"

"When I started doing drugs."

"Who was the last angel you communicated with?"

"My best friend Johnathon."

I felt my eyes burn a little.

"Your best friend? You didn't mention him with your other friends. What happened?"

"He was killed by a drunk driver."

"So when you started doing drugs, it was after his death?"

I thought about it and nodded.

"I." I took a deep breath. "It hurt me to not see him in his physical form anymore. My parents checked on me all the time and made sure I was okay but I pretended I was."
