"I know me too, it's become draining." Kairi said putting on her watch.
"Let me help you." I said grabbing her wrist.
I clamped it on and she smiled softly thanking me.
"Let's go everybody waiting." She said.
"You okay?" I asked.
She ain't been acting like herself lately.
She's been quiet and that's a hell of a red flag.
"Yeah why?"
"I know you not go open up just yet but don't get in no bullshit trynna protect the family that's not your job."

I looked her in her eyes and nodded.
Then I grabbed her hand walking her downstairs.
"Skylar! Let's go!"
"I was waiting on you daddy!" She ran from the kitchen with a snack.

I would pop her but we gotta go we already running late.
