"We cannot delay this anymore. We need to send more armies to the north!"
"We cannot risk our people no more,"
"Aren't they armies? This is their job!"
"Sir Cyrus, you were thinking our armies are just pawns that need to be sacrificed every time we sent them out to the battlefield?!" Dainsleif stood up from his heavy wooden chair. Everyone in the room was startled by his sudden raised voice. "They are humans! Some of them are husbands, wives, fathers, mothers, sons, and daughters! They have families they need to go home too. Have you count how many of the fallen armies had been listed this week?" He continued while locking his cold eyes at the blonde knight.
Knight Cyrus was stunned at his chair. "Then, are we just going to let the enemy to win this war?"
"We need to think other plan," Kaeya casually said as he put down his glass onto the wide wooden table. He glanced at the scattered papers in front of Dainsleif who was sitting back onto his chair. Why is he so worked up?
Cyrus laughed at Kaeya's idea. "Plan? While waiting for us to make a new plan, the King probably be beheaded by them," Cyrus glared at Kaeya.
"Oh? You're being rude here, Sir Cyrus. You're underestimating our abilities in this war," Kaeya smirked. "Just to remind you, your previous plan was a real disaster and we almost lost half of our total armies. And if it's not Sir Diluc to step in, probably this room had become the enemy's party room," Kaeya smirked.
Cyrus turned back to Dainsleif angrily. "Where's the prince? He supposedly to be here at this meeting,"
"The prince still cannot handle the army by his own. As his knight, I'll handle this job of his," Dainsleif replied.
"You baby him too much. What are you? His dog? As the prince, he should start handle his own army-"
"The prince is inexperienced in this field and you expect him to handle the war?" Dainsleif cut him.
"Is he really the future king we can trust on? All he can do is smiling and wave to the people. He is useless,"
The last word of him woke a sudden rage in Dainsleif. Dainsleif got out from his seat and went to Cyrus, grabbing him by his collar. "You know nothing about the prince!" he yelled at his face. Cyrus was trembling as Dainsleif looked into his eyes with his burning eyes. He raised his and was about to punch the damn knight when Diluc quickly grabbed is arm, stopping him.
"Sir Dainsleif, you looked so stress since the beginning. I think we should end this meeting now," Diluc suggested.
Dainsleif dropped down the man and walked out the room without saying anything. It had been shitty days for him. He had been so stressed out and Cyrus only put oil on his burning rage.
