Part 11- Aware

As Aether was staring the wide scenery outside the window, Dainsleif couldn't help but to stare at his beautiful face. His flawless fair skin shone like diamond as the sun hit the skin, his golden braided hair glistered as he slicked the strains behind his ear. His exposed neck reddened by the heat from the sunrays. It was nothing sexual when Aether licked his chapped lips to wet them but Dainsleif couldn't help but to sweat and fidgeting. He was ashamed of it that his own pants started to tightened as the time went by.

"Come here, Aether," Dainsleif patted his laps, ordering the prince to sit on him. Catching his breaths, Aether slowly stood up from his seat. He almost fell down when the carriage hit a rock, making the carriage shook violently for a second. Dainsleif quickly caught him with his strong arms and carefully sat him on his laps. "Careful~"

Aether was now sitting on his laps as the tall man wrapped his arms around his small body. He carefully caressed his clothed back, making the prince shivered with his touch. The golden-haired prince slowly leaned closer to his knight before landed a messy kiss on the lips. "Mmm" the young prince started to moan as he felt his knight's hot lips touched his jawlines and neck. Every touch of his lips on his bare skin sent shivers to his nerves, making him tingled a bit.

He felt something was tenting between the knight's pants. Breathing hard in excitement, he reached his hands to unbuckle the belt. Dainsleif stopped him with another messy kiss on his jawlines. "Eager, are we?" he smirked.

Aether's breath was heavy to answer him. He nodded.

Dainsleif let out a little chuckle. "We'll take it slow. We're moving after all," he said while taking of his black gloves. "And try not to be loud, okay?" he continued while kissing the prince's neck once again before unbutton the collar part of the prince's outfit.

Knowing what will happen next, Aether closed his eyes and smiled in excitement. This isn't a bad journey after all.

It was in the evening when the carriage came to stop. Charles got out from his carriage and walked towards the prince's royal carriage.

Knock. Knock.

"We're about to arrive soon, your highness," he announced from the outside.

"One moment, please," Dainsleif slowly replied.

Charles patiently waited for Dainsleif to unlock the door and soon the door was opened, he saw the young prince was laying on the long seat, Dainsleif's blue cape covered his body.

"He fell asleep an hour ago," Dainsleif told him.

"Please, Sir, wake him up if you may. We need to make him presentable before we arrive,"

Dainsleif slowly shook Aether's body to wake him up. After their quick sex in the carriage, Aether felt so tired and dizzy so he decided to rest. Dainsleif didn't want to take off the cape from Aether in front of Charles as his outfit was unbuttoned and messy. Surely Charles would feel suspicious if he saw the prince in state, thus he quickly covered his body before he opened the door.

Aether groaned as he felt someone shook his body, waking him up.

"My prince, please wake up. We almost arrived," Dainsleif announced.

"Mmmghm" Aether groaned again and grabbed the cape to cover his face as it was his warm blanket.

Charles sighed and turned to Dainsleif. "I'll wait for him. Send him to the larger carriage for him to change," Charles said while closing the door.

Dainsleif turned to Aether and pulled off the cape off him. "Aether, please wake up. Charles is waiting for you. You need to change into a proper outfit," he said while continuing shaking the prince's body. Aether's current attire isn't suitable for an official meeting as it was only a comfortable clothing of him for his journey. It was his idea that they would come to a stop so that he could change into a suitable attire before they arrive to Inazuma.

After a moment, Aether final woke up. Without wasting anymore time, Dainsleif lead him to Charles so he can change while he talked to his guards to reassure their safety on this journey.

"Sir Dainsleif, there's something I need to inform you," Swan, one of the guards, approached Dainsleif. "You see, the both of us were driving the last carriage since we started to move from our castle. Everything was fine when suddenly I saw unusual movements while we were crossing the forest,"

"At first, we thought it was wild animals but the movements were the same," said Harry, Swan's companion. "I'm afraid, someone is following us, Sir"

"We're sorry for not alerting this earlier,"

"How long it had been?" Dainsleif frowned.

"Not so long ago, Sir. It just before we passed the forest just now," Harry replied his superior.

"And after that?"

"After we passed the forest, we didn't see any movement until now, Sir," Swan replied.

Dainsleif looked at all the people around him, trying to find if there's something suspicious. "Everyone on guard," he ordered the guards. The guards quickly saluted him and told the other guards.

By the time Dainsleif inspected the surrounding, Aether has finished changed into new outfit. He was wearing a light blue royal outfit with matching pants and shoes. A crown was perfectly sat on his head. "Dain, we're done. Come inside," Aether told him from a far.

Dainsleif moved his legs towards the prince. "I'm sorry my prince but I'll lead us to the palace right now. All guards are on guard right now,"

Aether frowned. "Something's wrong?"

"No. Nothing's wrong. We just need to be ready and careful when we get into the border. That's all," Dainsleif reassured him. Well, that was not the case. Dainsleif sensed something was off but he couldn't tell what was it. Something was following them? That what he thought but he couldn't grasp the idea yet. Thus, they need to be alert. "Charles, join the prince," he ordered the butler.

Charles was not an ordinary head butler. He was skilled with many skills. Not only as a butler but also a fighter. His combat skills amazed Dainsleif since they first met. That was why he trusted Charles to be the first person who can protect their prince if there's anything happened while he isn't there with the prince.

Charles nodded at the order and helped the prince into his carriage. Dainsleif jointhe guard who lead their carriage and continued their journey to Inazuma City.
