Not Just One

Chapter 5-Gwen

        "Annie, you aren't coming with. Ryan can come over to the house, but you aren't going to a graduates party. No." I snap.

        "Gwen, I'm a year younger than you. And your cousin. Not your sister. You can't tell me where Ryan and I can and can't go." My cousin Annie smirks.

        "I don't care. You weren't invited by either host. And if I were to tell your mom you wanted to go what do you think she'd say?" I roll my eyes, laying out my outfit.

        "And what would your parents say if they knew you were going?" She snaps back.

        "Fine. You can come along. But you can't be around me and if Will or Maddy get pissed at me or you, this is all your fault." I say shutting my bedroom door.

        "I'll be ready by 6." She calls through the door.

        I roll my eyes and turn on the shower. I quickly call Clair.        

        "Hey babe." She coos.

        "I know you're setting me up with Will." I say washing off my make up.

        "What how?" She screams.

        "Well, Will sent me a text saying 'I think Clair and Maddy are trying to set us up.' And I know how you roll." I laugh.

        She sighs, "Caught me. But I know you're trying to set me up with Brayden. So let's pretend we both don't know."

        "Agreed." I laugh.

        "Sorry, I'm at Maddy's. She wants to know if you can come in a tank and shorts and get ready over here? Like right now?" She giggles.

        "Well, I have to take a shower. But then I can come over. And my cousin Annie is coming with her boyfriend Ryan. She was gonna tell my parents so I let her. Sorry." I apologize.

        "It's fine. Just tell her to gte her own ride and get over here right after your shower." She laughs some more.

        "Ok. Let me shower!" I say ending the call.

        I jump in the shower and try to calm my nerves. They were going to set me up with Will and I knew that he liked me, but I was still scared.

        I throw on my tank and booty shorts and throw my supplies into a bag.

        "Annie, get your own ride!" I yell running to my car.

        I drive over to Maddy's house and walk up to the door. I take a deep breath and knock.

        "Will can you get that?" Maddy calls on the other side.

        The door creaks open and standing there is Will.

        "Gwen, wow. They're upstairs." He stutters.

        I smile and hug him. He seems shocked and hugs me back.

        I start up the stairs and turn to see him still staring. I smile and continue up the stairs.

        "Bitches I'm here!" I yell throwing my bag on her floor.

        Maddy and Clair come out of the bathroom and smirk.

        "You and Will are so going to bang tonight." Maddy laughs.
