"Uhg you don't care!" Corbyn whined. Jonah looked up at him from where he sat tying his shoes. "Okay I'll call him later and talk to him about it," the elder said annoyance dripping in his tone. Corbyn had been going on and on about what Zach had said to him and Jonah wasn't exactly listening nor did he really care. Sometimes Corbyn tended to overreact and he knew this better than anyone so he was downplaying everything he said causing Corbyn to get upset.

"You don't understand! He told me he didn't love me!" The blond whined from the couch. Jonah was getting ready to leave for work and let's just say he couldn't wait to get out of that house. "Okay Corbyn and what do you want me to do about it?" He asked rubbing his face. "At least act like you care," the blond muttered. Jonah gave him a blank stare and sighed "k tell this story again," he said resting his hand on his palm, he could care less about what his husband was about to say. When Corbyn was moody he never wanted to listen to him.

Corbyn groaned loudly, a little more dramatic than it needed to be but started his story once more. "Okay so I was missing Zach like really really bad today so I thought on my break me and him could go out to lunch or something and I asked him if he wanted to go and he said yes so I drove all the way there to get him and when I finally got there he walked right past me and after he took his meds he said he wasn't going with me and-and I kept trying to convince him so he lied and said he was getting his shoes and never came back downstairs and when I went to see what was taking so long he was being such a brat...I don't know what I did wrong okay yeah I annoyed him a little bit I guess but he told me I was annoying and he didn't love me anymore," the upset blond whined stuffing his face into the pillow he laid on.

"Corbyn can I ask what you did to have him call you annoying?" The eldest questioned. Lately him and Zach have been getting closer when they had time to see each other and from the surface of the situation he thought the boy was getting a lot better and less angry so he knew Corbyn or someone else had to have provoked him.

"I Dunno I told him we would have fun and that he should go with me and he said he didn't want to go anywhere with me because I annoy him," Jonah blinked a few times "okay I'll talk to him when I can," he dismissed the situation because he really didn't want to go to work all stressed out. He stood and approached the blond who sat on the couch. "I'm sure he didn't mean it," he said and crouched down to the blonds level. Corbyn huffed "I bet he did mean it,"

"Corbyn he loves you very much I'm sure he was just having one of his moments. If I can I'll stop over and talk to him about it okay?" He said softly even if Corbyn was dramatic at times it still hurt to see him upset. "Okay," Corbyn said slight pout to his tone. He honestly didnt see what he did wrong. He honestly didn't see why Zach was upset with him.

Jonah put their faces close together gently "it's okay I know your upset because of it but we both know he was just upset. You know how he is now," he said placing a hand to the blonds cheek stroking his thumb over his cheek bone. Corbyn sniffled which broke his heart. "T-those meds don't work,"

"You don't know that," the older man reassured and moved so he sat beside Corbyn on the couch. "He's getting better it's gonna take time he can't just pop a pill and be completely back to normal. I think he's getting better actually,"Jonah said placing his hand on corbyns knee now. "H-how?" Corbyn hiccuped, he barely saw change all he saw was less tantrums. Then again he saw him at most two days a week.

"What do you mean how?" Jonah asked softly. "How is he b-better," a tear landed on the blond cheek. Jonah used the back of his knuckle to whip it away before it could roll far. "Well how isn't he? Think of how he was just a few months ago compared to now. I think he's doing pretty damn good right now." Corbyn looked down at their laps sniffling slightly.

"No he needs more medicine h-he's still not back to normal...he's still hateful and crazy," more tears ran down his face. "Corbyn," Jonah immediately scolded afterwards but keeping in mind how upset he was and that he was just hurting. Corbyn moved closer placing his head on jonahs chest lightly hiccuping.

"His personality isn't a pill you know this. You know what happened to him and you know he's scared but your missing that he's also a teenager now...He is not crazy or hateful! You remember being that age the more you try to keep him from growing up the more he's going to resent you for it. He's gotten so much more better lately if you haven't noticed but better doesn't mean the same or perfect or that he's not allowed to have bumps in the road or hard days." Jonah explained rubbing his husbands back with his right hand and messing with the blonds hair with his left.

"But he's not better! He's still sick and he won't let me take care of him, what if he's not actually taking it like he's supposed to? He lies to us all the time what if he just takes them when we're around so he doesn't get in trouble? O-or what if...what if he takes to much...like addiction b-because he did that with those other pills what if-" Jonah shushed him. "Quit." He murmured his fingers pulling at the blonds hair. "I know your upset and scared but freaking out isn't the answer to hyoid problems. Have you forgotten my mom and dad watch him and make sure he has taken them? Where you bothering him about his meds when he got upset?"

Corbyn was quiet for a few moments "I guess I was a little bit..." he spoke quietly. "But still he said he didn't love me," Jonah checked his watch realizing it was almost time for him to leave. "Okay okay I would be really upset too but you know he didn't mean it he probably felt that you don't trust him or something like that. Next time you see him I think you should be the one to apologize,"

Corbyn lifted his head to look at the older man "me?! But," Jonah put his finger to corbyns lips "but nothing. Yes he was wrong to say that but Corbyn how would you feel if you are trying your hardest to get better and your dad treats you like you can't be trusted with your own responsibilities?" Corbyn sat up once again and thought for a second choosing to be petty. "Well I don't know how I would react if my dad started doing that because I don't have one," he slightly glared at his husband. Jonah sighed "now is not the time for that. I have to leave soon and my verdict here is I'll talk to Zach about it when I can and you apologize to him k?" Jonah said in an annoyed tone. The blond rolled his eyes "yeah okay," he responded to jonahs half assed reply.

"Don't be like that," Jonah said and put his hand on corbyns knee "he's growing up I know he's done a lot of things we shouldn't trust him for but overbearing him and basically showing that you don't trust him is only going to make him resent you," Corbyn just swallowed the lump in his throat "your right," he agreed even though he stopped listening after he heard the part about Zach growing up. He wanted out of this conversation. "Glad to see we're on the same page now," Jonah said and kissed his cheek "but now I really have to go," his schedule was much more strict now than it was over the summer and he was afraid of arriving late.

A few hours later Corbyn finally made his way upstairs to go to bed. It was around 1am. As he ventured to his bedroom he couldn't bare to look at zachs room. It still hurt so bad. Jonah didn't understand Zach needed him he needed him to take care of him and he needed more medicine to help him. He needed it because Corbyn couldn't bare to see him in the hospital again. He needed more medicine so Corbyn wouldn't almost lose him again.

Hey! Ik this chap is kinda shitty but I wrote it rlly fast bc I'm so excited about the next chapter and want to get it out faster so I can finished up writing the next one :)

Next chapter should be out within a few days it's about 60% done and is probably one of my favs in the whole book.

Okay. Why does Corbyn think Zach needs more medicine?

Why do you think Jonah is just kind of dismissive of the whole thing like he doesn't rlly care as much as Corbyn does?

Why did Corbyn call Zach hateful and crazy when he typically would never do that?

Why does Jonah think Corbyn should be the one apologizing?

What do you think the next chapter could be? ;)
