The little boy was on the floor. Dead but with his eye open. Jayce puts his hand and closes his eyes. He sighs. Vi walks behind him "you didn't have a choice. He knew what he was signing up for" vi said. Jayce stays quiet and than gets up "we're done here" Jayce said

"We haven't even scratched the surface. Silco's still out there." Vi said. Jayce sighs and looks to the side "do you not understand? I am part of this now!" Jayce yelled looking back at vi. "That next parents who get a message their kid isn't coming home...I don't even know where to take it. De we just leave him here?" Jayce said

"You've always been a part of this.you just never had to look it in the eye. One dead kid? There's hundreds more where he came from,thanks to silco, and thanks to people like you who stick their head in the dirt." Vi said. "This is over" Jayce said sternly

"Not for me." Vi said. The gauntlet creak. "Take those off" Jayce said grabbing the hand to the hammer. The steam hisses from the gauntlet "make me" vi said with her eyes narrowed, glaring at Jayce a bit. The hammer clangs and clacks. "I cant let you leave with them" Jayce said lifting the hammer a bit from the floor. "Then, I guess you're gonna need to kill another trencher." Vi said making the gauntlets crank again.

Jayce breaths heavily ready. Vi moves her foot ready,Jayce sighs and just gives up. Jayce walks away and vi watches him. He stopped and looked back "you won't make it alone." Jayce said before continuing to walk. Vi sighs after and walks over to the kid. She looks to her right and see's shimmer.

She walks over to it and punches it with a grunt. The glass shatters.

Silco looks at the damage to his shimmer "been a while since topsides gotten this bold" Sevika said "say what you want about the late sheriff. He had his uses" silco said "too bad jinx and n/n didn't think so" Sevika said. Silco take his hand off the glass "we'll buy another" he said looking over his shoulder

"You gonna do anything!" Renni yelled. "About that piece of shit that murdered my boy? Let me guess, 'jinx and n/n will take care of it. Just like they've been taking care of everything else!" Renni yelled at silco. "We all mourn the loss of your son,renni. At lease we have the solace of knowing he died fighting for our cause, instead of some petty personal dispute, as so often occurs here" silco said

"You're one to talk about sacrificing for the cause. Where is jinx and n/n anyhow?" Renni said. Silco didn't answer and looked at Sevika "help her with the body" silco said. A lighter clicks and Sevika looks over. And furrows her eyebrows at him

Silco was in his office looking at a paper with a cup in his hand. The doors open "I'm busy" silco said not taking his eyes off the paper. Sevika entered along with renni and finn. Sevika pull up a chair for Finn and he sits and Sevika goes to the side of Silco's chair.

"When you took Vader out of play, I thought, now here's a man who understands what it takes to run an enterprise. The attitude, the instinct, the eye. The whole package, you were. Always two steps ahead" finn said holding onto the lighter.

"But times lapped you,old man" finn said "you're with him,are you?" Silco asked towards Renni "you screwed up,silco" Renni said. Silco puts the glass down. "You're too young to rennet what the undercity was before it became an 'enterprise". We had nothing" silco said

"You know what bore us through those times?" Silco asked. Finn played with the lighter "loyalty" silco said. Sevika looks down to silco "brothers and sisters back-to-back against whatever the world threw at us. Now I'm forced to share the air with parasite likes you" silco said

Sevikas arm took out a sword "who leach off their legacies" silco said looking at finn "today the day you die,silco" finn said. "That's a risk I've known all my life" silco said as Sevika raises her sword arm "but I still believe in loyalty" silco said

Finn lighter closes and Sevika swings the sword along with a grunt leaving her mouth. The sword make a switsh noise. It cut through Silco's glass cup. Renni breathing was shaking. She's touches her face to feel blood on her and looks to finn and gasped quietly.

Their was a line in his throat and his golden chin. He chockes and grabbed his throat before wheezing and falling face onto Silco's desk. Finn's lighters falling to the floor. Sevika sword rasps back into her arm. Renni shudders "I would have had you son killed for this" silco said coldly

"Though I suppose we're ahead on that account" silco said looking at Renni. "Get out" silco said. Renni whimpers and runs out the room. The door opens and it closes. Sevika walks forward to the desk "we're you tempted?" Silco asked grabbing a cigar

"Not for a worm like him" Sevika said pushing his body and chair out the way. She grabbed the lighter "but he won't be the last" Sevika said as she lights Silco's cigar. He puffs out the smoke and looks at the paper and looks at a symbol.

Ekko bangs in the medal door. As heimerdinger standing by ekko. The door opens and one of the fire lights open the doors for him. The firelight helps ekko walk a bit "astonishing" heimerdinger said walking as he dragged ekko board.

"You say all this came about in your own lifespan?"heimerdinger asked looking at ekko. As he was help being sit down by his fire flight partner. "How were you able to accomplish so mush so quickly?"heimerdinger asked asking about the tree

"You'd be surprised what you can pull off when your life depends on it." Ekko said. His bones cracks and he gasped and grunts. His leg went down to the ground "uh,why this form? Surely, there are more efficient and safer methods of transportation"heimerdinger said

There was a loud tumble from the ground. "Firelights!" He yelled. Everyone looks over or looks around. He howls and roars and ekko but his fist up. All of them cheer and firelights were chirping and flying around the place. "It's not brought to give people what they need to survive, you have to give them what they need to live." Ekko said
