𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐓𝐨 𝐆𝐞𝐭 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐲 𝐖𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐁𝐮𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐬 2022

𝑪𝒉𝒂𝒑𝒕𝒆𝒓 𝑭𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒕𝒚-𝑻𝒉𝒓𝒆𝒆

I woke up on the good side of the bed, smiling like an idiot, I got out of bed so I could prepare for school but first, Boy with love by my favorite Korean boy band BTS was on repeat Satisfied I went to take my bath . Once I was done in the bathroom I went to my room to get prepared for school. Once the was done dressing up for school I wore the ladybug themed necklace he gave me as birthday gift. I smiled as memories of how he pulled a surprise birthday party for me on my birthday.

" urgh what are you doing. You  look horrifying with that's cherry lip bom on you."

"Good morning sister March. I hope you slept good."

Not today sister. You are not going to ruin my mood.

I thought to myself as i greeted her. She rolled her eyes as me before fully walking into my room. I was getting ready for school and I wasn't going to let my sister ruin my mood. Once I was fully dressed I went  downside to get breakfast ready, I decided to make waffle and scream cheese since its been a while I've had that. The smell of freshly backed waffle lured everyone out of there hiding like zombie looking for brains. I smile when I saw how everyone dived in to eat  my waffle to satisfy there hungry. We all ate in silence and once we were done, Mr Idowu cleared his throat to speak. 

"Firstly I would like to say thank you, to everyone who held the forth down while I was battling deprssion and the loss of wife and baby... Those... Hmm I don't know how to thank you enough for those were dark, really dark times for me. I know I wasn't the best guardian you would have hoped for heck I was a terrible person to you all in my one little way, especially to you Maddlyen and. I just want to say i am sorry. I may not be doing things to imporve my metal health the way you want me too but believe me I am getting it done."

At this point  when he finished his speech, we all had stray tears in our eye. Even Michael and March that were always forming hard guy were in tears while I was balling my eyes out. I sniffed wiping it away and I held his hands, Michael held my hands too making sure we all held hands. And while in the mist of our tears March volunteer to pray to bless this new beginning we are looking at. I smiled after the prayer ended for the first time in a while, Mr Idowu said he would take us to school. And by us I meant me and Michael since March was already working at a big restaurant close to our house.

" so Maddlyen how is school going."

Mr Idowu asked when were on our way to my school. He was smiling sheepishly like someone who just  won a million Naira, while his eyes were on the road. I smile at home before responding because frankly I haven't seen him this happy.

" school is fine. I an gettin hang of learning now, and our promotional exams are closing In."

" Whao that's good to hear. What about you Michael, when is your WAEC and NECO exams starting."

" I don't know. I just want to write this damn exam and get on with life."

Michael said to respond to Mr Idowu. He was sited in the passenger side front seat while I was in the passenger seat back side. Mr Idowu chuckled a little eyes still on the road and I could see from the center mirror that he was smiling . Who is this and what happened to the grumpy Mr Idowu I've known almost all my life . I chuckled light and cleared my throat to cover it up before Mr idowu spoke again.

"Hmmm this boy, you never cease to amaze me. Have you thought about the course you wanna study. You can't be galavanting the stress with just SSCE certification."

"Ssss I have not finish with one school, let me rest small fest before you push  me into another school."

Michael said in response. And I had to stop my self from laughing , was he seriously. Of cause it was a joke, I mean If I was in his position would be delighted. Being able to comeplete my education, not having to repeat, graduating at the appointed time and being about to finish my  education  uninterrupted. I didn't know when it came of my mouth and I said my mind.

" you should be grateful. Not everyone gets to complete the 4 level of education like you did. So don't talk like that, if you have the chance to enter and finish university at the appointmented  time why slow it down your self."

He tiled his head abit to look at me , my face held no emotion. Usually he would insult me or say something derogatory about me not caring If Mr Idowu was there or not. But Instead he smiled at me a sad one thought because he knew I was speaking from experience. He turned  on the radio as we all well into a comfortable silence, each of us not having anything else to say.

I got to school 7:30 just in time for assembly Gage was waving at me from the entrance where the gate stood. He was smiling at me a small patch of  Hibiscus flower in his hand. I  immediately went red on the stop and it was very visible- cause my light skinned complexion . Mr idowu  who didn't know Gage and didn't even notice him at all look at me worry itching  on his face and he asked

" Maddlyen are you ok,  you look like you are burring—"

" no no i am fine. I should really getting going assembly has started already."

I said in one breath practically running out of the door. Gawd that was a close one i didn't think I was going to survive without getting caught. I walked to the gate where Gage was still standing smiling  at me . In as I wanted to stay and try that kiss one more time I couldn't, because one I didn't want to get addicted and two I didn't want my brother or Mr idowu who I could still feel staring at me- to see me caught in the act, goodness I wouldn't hear the last of it. Instead I just walked passed Gage and into the school compound.

He felt hurt obviously as he ran after me.  Once I was within the company and I was sure we were the only ones with the company i turned swiftly to look at him. He looks flushed because he was running to catch up with me and that made me feel sorry for him. It wasn't my fault I was gifted with long beautiful legs that walks way to fast.

I didn't know why but while Gage was catching his breath I looked round in a Mischievous Manner. Sure we were alone while everyone else was in the assembly hall at the moment. I took Advantage of it, just when Gage was about to complain I did the unthinkable, something the old me wouldn't dream of doing.

"Maddlyen the least you could have done was accept the flower. You have—"

"Hmmm"

" what are you—-"

Yeap I ended his sentence with a lip to lip connection. Gawd I think it is high time I accept my fate, I am addicted to Gage's lips. This morning he taste like strawberry dipped in caramel syrup and it tasted way wayyy better that the waffles I made this morning. Completely forgetting that we were both in school uniform in the middle of the school compound.

I moaned uncontrollably and that made Gage tighten his grip around my waist. I sucker on his bottom lips, tugging in it lightly making him moan my name. Only God knows how loud we've been standing there because it took the loud clearing of someone's throat before we could prey ourselves off each other.

"You guys should really get a room. Or someone is going to get caught."
