White Roses And Blood

More fixing parts! These parts won't be terribly different, only minor adjustments now. 

~Mikasa's pov~

I was shocked. He loved me? How could this be happening? "I think we should get to know each other better before we jump into something." I said remembering how my parents cultured worked and how I was supposed to follow it. I motioned towards the bed and for us to sit down. He nodded and sat on the bed next to me. "I'll share something about myself that you don't know, then you. Just so, we can get a better understanding of each other." I decided. "When I was five Jake came back from the Survey Corps and said that he was in trouble, that he was being hunted. He told me that someone that looked like him would live with us and pretend to be him and that he would find me when everything was fine. Jake was right he was in big trouble. A few weeks later a few guys showed up and killed Jake's double. So I pretended Jake was dead all these years just to keep Jake safe from any danger." I guess that wasn't really wasn't about me but it all I got. He thought for a moment before speaking. 

"So, is that what you were writing back at the grave. That, the person under the grave wasn't who it was said to be?" He asked looking at me. I nodded. There was a silence fro a minute before he spoke up. "I have always wanted a cat. I mean like a big calm cat that you can use as a pillow." I couldn't help but, laugh at him. He looked at me. "What? I want a ginat calm cat for snuggling and for a pillow, is that bad or something?" He chuckled. I shook my head

"I never expected you to want an animal." I laughed a little bit again. He rolled his eyes and pushed me a little bit. We sat there and shared things with each other for about an hour or so. "I'm out of things to share." I said sighing not really wanting this to end. I was having a lot of fun with him. We were laughing and we got down to sharing our darkest secrets. "Wait I lied, I'm the one who was kicking down your door every time you left the building." He stared at me with rage.

 "So you're the door kicker." He growled getting closer to me. I nodded. "You're going to pay." He started tickling me. 

"Stop it." I started laughing trying to stop his hands falling back onto the bed.

"No" He toppled over me straddling my legs. He kept tickling despite my pleads and surrendering to him. I finally jabbed him in his side to spaz him. He crunched up around my hand and stopped tickling me. I pinned him down breathing heavily. I stared into his pale blue eyes. I closed my eyes and kissed him softly and quickly. I got off of him after that and sat on my knees blushing madly. 

"I don't know how I feel about us being a thing. I mean it's just weird. You're my Corporal." I looked down ashamed of myself. 

"You know where I am when you make up your mind." He said getting up to leave, but stopped at the door. "I like the white roses, they represent you the best, but you should add some red. Be more appealing to the eye." He walked out after that. I looked at my rose pot and realized he was right, I did need to put some red in there. They were a gift from someone on my birthday. All that came was a card that was signed only with, 'L' Then I realized who it was, Levi had sent me them. I smiled leaning back and let sleep take me.

I ran besides Jake by the lake racing to the cave entrance. "I won." Jake said mockingly.

"You got lucky." I said panting while bending over. I looked up at my brother to see his face drenched in blood. I backed up hitting a tree. I screamed, the tree itself was blood, all of them were. I looked back at my brother who had dissolved into white rose petals stained with blood. The lake that used to be a clear blue was now blood topped with the same white rose petals. I turned around and saw Levi standing there  in front of a cloaked figure with a scythe at his neck. The figure sliced Levi's throat in one clean cut. Levi dropped to the forest ground lifeless. I watched in horror as the figure walked towards me and threw me into the blood lake. The thick crimson liquid filled my lungs drowning me. I struggle trying to reach the surface. I was distracted by something coming at me in the distance. It was a black shadow that had the shape of a titan. It clasped my throat and said, "Die. Die. Die! DIE!" As it got louder I got weaker and soon I felt nothing.

I woke with a jolt. I felt something thick raising up in my throat. I went to the bathroom and coughed up a lot of blood. I looked at myself in the mirror to see my skin pale as ever covered with blood stains. I stepped back horrified, just my luck a stool was there and I tripped over it hitting the closet door with my head. My head was spinning in circles now. I tried to comprehend what was happening to me. A few seconds later Levi was in my bathroom. He looked at me and gasped. 

"What the hell happened to you?" He bent down and started examining the blood on my face and the back of my head. "You need to see Hanji, c'mon." Still dazed he picked me up a brought me down to her office. "Hanji, something wrong with Mikasa." Hanji was with Erwin and Armin when we walked in.

 "What happened to you?" She rushed over to me and immediately started examining me. I felt more blood start to come up again and I started to choke on it. "Levi put her down!" I fell straight to my knees coughing. 

"Mikasa you need to relax." Armin rubbed his hand on my back. I breath in and out the best I could trying to clear my head. 

"Levi get her some water, Erwin we will discuss it later." Hanji ordered. "Mikasa cough it up okay, don't hold it down. Armin watch over her." The blood was getting thicker and thicker the harder I tried to cough it up. I breathed out through my mouth hoping that would help, luckily it did. I threw it up onto the floor. I finally had got it all out of my system when Levi came back with water which I happily drank.  Levi waited until I was done before picking me up and bringing me to Hanji. I closed my eyes tried from losing so much blood.

 "Levi make sure she doesn't go to sleep!" Hanji yelled awaking me a little. 

"Keep your eyes open, please. I promise I'll give you something you'll love if you stay awake, okay." I nodded. I felt him grab my hand and stroke it. "Hanji do you have something to clean her face with?" Levi asked over his shoulder. She nodded and told him wear a bucket and rag would be. He came back and started to wash the blood stains off my face. The water was freezing which kept me awake even longer. 

"Mikasa do you remember what happened to you?" Hanji finally asked. "I...dreamt I...was with Jake at...the lake," I told them my dream and what happened when I woke you. "That is really strange." Hanji said, "I'm going to take blood samples just in case." She took my blood which made me sick then told me I could go to sleep. Not even a second after she said it I was out cold.

~Levi's pov~

I stay awake the whole night watching Mikasa. She started to rustle a little and say things in her sleep. I wrapped my arms around her and pulled her onto my lap. She mumbled something before calming down and resting peacefully. Eren walked in a couple minutes later. I gave him a glare from the side as he walked towards us.

"Wh-what happened to her? I know she is probably the last person she wants to see right now, but I still love her as a sister and I am deeply sorry for what I said to her, " He apologized and walked closer to us. "Armin told me what he saw happen and what he heard happen." I sighed and told him what I knew about the situation.

"Alright, so I got her tests back," Hanji said as I finished talking. "There is nothing wrong with her which is the strangest thing. There should be something wrong if she was coughing up that much blood?" She looked at us concerned. Mikasa started to wake up. She looked at Eren and snuggled into my chest.

"Eren, you said that you wanted me to tell you when something big happens, right? Well, Levi and I are dating now. I figured you would like to know."
