~Mikasa's Pov~

It's her. The woman from my nightmares, she's real. How can she be real? What is happening? I stared up at her

"Don't look so shocked Ms. Ackerman," The woman said in a darker tone. She was standing on top of Eren's somehow fully restored house. Her scythe in one of her hands, the tip gently resting on the top of the roof. She was still in the crimson red cloak that covered her face. "Oh wait, you don't think I am real do you? You think that I am just a figure of your imagination or something right?" She snickered and jumped down off of the roof, flawlessly landing on the ground. I looked around seeing everybody staring at me and the woman. She had her scythe draped over her shoulder. She slowly walked towards us.

"Scarlet," Ava stepped forward a few feet away from who I assume is Scarlet. Her name fits the whole red theme she has going on. Hold on, how does Ava know her name? "Step aside and give us the antidote and no one will get hurt." Her voice carried through the wind bringing uncomfortable silence. I think we all might have been silent for at least a minute or two, before Scarlet's laughter broke it.

"We had a job Ava, before you turned your back on us and left to play hero with these lower life forms," Scarlett hissed stepping forward a little bit. "You left your family, friends, your people for them." She gestured at us. My mind was going wild. I have to be dreaming, I thought. None of this can be real. I looked over at where Levi was noticing he was slowly making his way towards me.

"I left because what they wanted us to do was wrong. We couldn't just go in there and control them. Look at them, Scarlett. They have lives, hopes, dreams. These people are-" She was cut off from a titan jumping next to Scarlett when she hit the ground with her scythe.

"They aren't us! We can never be like those pathetic wall dwellers," Scarlett swung her scythe in front of her. "I was sent here to collect Ms. Ackerman and the other titan kid, I was also ordered to kill anyone in my way. I will stop at nothing to destroy anyone who gets in my way, even you. You threw away what we had and broke my heart. I have no sympathy for you or anyone of these pathetic life forms." She spun her scythe around a few times in her hand her scythe gathering a wall of titans around us. "Kill everybody, but the titan shifters and do not let anyone inside that basement." She ordered before slamming the scythe into the ground. The titans stormed towards us, screaming as they rushed forward.

"Get out of here now!" Ava yelled back at us as she threw off her ring with the dragon on it. She let off a soft blue light as knifes became to rise up out of the back of her shirt on their own. They fanned out around her as she pulled six more out of her pockets. I was trying to process what was happening, but due to Levi throwing me over his shoulder and running I completely lost my train of thought.

"Levi! Put me down! Why the hell are you running away?" I tried to wiggle out of his grip. His hold tightened as he ran faster. I frowned when he didn't answer. "What is wrong with you?" I started beating his back lightly. He didn't seem to take any notice. I finally gave up and looked back at everybody scrambling to get away alive. Armin was basically being escorted by Hanji and Erwin out of the fight safely. Eren however was trying to make a beeline to the basement only to be surrounded by titans with glowing red eyes. I frantically tried to escape from Levi's grasp. He kept going, even thouh he was struggling to dodge the titans while carrying me. He didn't let me down until we were safely out of harm's way. As soon as my feet hit the ground I tried to sprint back in to save Eren. Levi quickly pulled me back and held me close.

"No Mikasa, I won't let you go back in there," He said cupping my face in his hands softly. His eyes flashed with hurt, he was holding back his emotions. "I can't lose you." His voice broke as he pulled me closer to him. I pushed away from him.
