I stared at the cafe doors. I waited and waited and waited for him to come in. Natalie caught me looking at it and came up behind me. "Boo!" She said, but I wasn't scared. I turned around and looked at her, giving her a grin. "Hi Nat." I said. Natalie smiled at me. "Ooo, you're happy today. What's the occassion?" She asked, nudging me.
I shrugged. "Good dream." I lied, smiling. "That's a load of shit. What's up." She said. I guess I can't hide from the person who's known me since kids.I blushed, and looked down, then I looked back up at her. "I went on a date." I admitted. Her eyes widened and her eyebrows raised high. Then she grabbed my shoulders and shook me. "You fucking asshole!" She yelled in joy. "What- did- I- do-" I managed to get out while she shook me. She stopped shaking me and stomped her foot. "You didn't tell me you went on a date! You have to tell me these things Y/N! Are you insane! These things are important Y/N! These are the types of things that are essential for me to know as your best friend Y/N!" She ranted on. I smiled and rolled my eyes and grabbed her shoulders to calm her down. "Nat! Relax! I didn't tell you because it's not with someone you'd expect." I admitted. She thought a bit. Then she opened her eyes wide and looked at me. "What- is it him?" She asked, leaning closer to me.
Damn she's good."Yes! Yes yes yes, it's him. My competitive side got the best of me and I listened to your god forsaken advice." I explained. Her face grew from nonchalant to extremely excited. She started hopping up and down and pushed her hands into her mouth and quietly squealed, then she hugged me. "Yay! Your boyfriend is the rich guy!" She happily exclaimed and squeezed me. Then she froze. "You better get as much money out of him as possible" She whispered. I laughed and pushed her away. "Hey, it was only a one time thing, okay? Nothing serious. I don't like him like that, I just wanna know his name." I said, looking at my side, then down to the ground.
She rose her eyebrow at me. "Uhh... You're telling me, you don't even know his name?" She asked. I froze and looked at her. "Uhh, well-" I said. She sighed. "Y/N! Don't tell me it was a one night stand!" She said. I blushed and shook my head. "No, no no! It wasn't! It was a date. Him and I are just extremely stubborn and competitive, is all." I said, looking down. She laughed. "That's hilarious! He doesn't know your name either?" She asked. I laughed and shook my head no, causing her to laugh harder.
While laughing, Natalie suddenly stopped and her face was still, looking behind me. I noticed her change in mood and got extremely confused. I followed her gaze and turned around, looking behind me. I saw him, waiting at the register.
I felt the same fuzzy feeling, except it was very intense this time. Him and I locked gazes. His brown ones hypnotized me once again. I walked up to the register, shy. And I looked at him with a smile. "Good morning, sir." I said teasingly. He wore casual clothing. It was a Sunday so he wasn't working. He gave me a subtle smile. "Medium, black." He said. I smiled and began making the coffee. After finishing it, I handed it to him, and he handed me his card. I cashed him out and looked back at him. "Anything else for you, sir?" I asked him, knowing the answer is already no. "Yes." He said. Oh shit. I blushed. "Oops, I already cashed you ou- Um... What can I get you?" I asked, looking up at him. His gaze softened, and he eyed me up and down. Then he grabbed his card from me and left to his chair with his coffee, and with me wondering what he wanted. After putting two and two together, my face grew hot. Natalie was watching from behind the whole time, and I turned to her. She looked at me and even she was blushing. "You do realize what that means, right?" She asked me. I pursed my lips. "I'd rather not think about it." I turned my head to look at him. I expected him to look at me, but he didn't.
I glared at him. This asshole is interesting. He's so mysterious.
And I'm going to solve him.♡
When I went home that night, my mind was on him constantly. I blushed thinking about him.
Ugh, Y/N, get a hold of yourself!
I decided to take a shower to clear my mind. While I showered, I rubbed and shuffled my soapy hair, then I rinsed all the water off. That's when my mind somehow led to thinking about him. Not only him, but the kiss we shared last night.
His lips on mine felt like heaven. No, that's too simple. It felt like... The last piece of the puzzle. All my worries, all my problems flowed from my head and out my body in that very moment. And with his arm around my back, pushing me into him, like an open invitation to kiss him more and more. It made me feel safe. The way he moved his lips perfectly with mine, in sync, like a dance. He didn't seem to care that I was a bad kisser, and rather, he adjusted the kiss in a way to make it ever so pleasurable.
Pleasurable...
The hot water ran down my body, my mind fuzzy...
Don't fall in love, Y/N...
Don't...Fuck it.
I got out of the shower and grabbed my phone.
Y/N:
hey.
