Like the sun, your guardian is apart of life for the process of your growth.

They made it possible for you to exist,
grow,
and give warmth.
But, that doesn't mean that they cannot burn you.
The sunny days made it easy for your parents to see how great their child can be, another level to add for future accomplishments, and shooting up expectations.
The pivotal times of growth in your life were experienced with great acceptance, or great discussion. This left you without room to acknowledge how bright you could be, because always shining brighter was on your parents mind - so it became apart of yours too.
(Remember - growth isn't just about your accomplishments. It's realizing what you've achieved, and about the lessons of your ignorance.)
