{ 3rd POV }

"This is such a PAIN!"

The demon sat on top of the roof of his shop, facing the utter chaos that is now his base area. Tango was losing it, laughing to himself while scratching his head.

He was staring at the chaotic amount of boats spread across the area, almost all of them were stacking on top of each other.

So much to the point that if you get in one then you're stuck there

"I swear the Boatem gang is gonna regret their deci-"

He stopped at the sight of rocket particles across the sky, he looked up and squinted to find his good old friend; Impulse.

Tango smirked and shouted to get his attention

"OI! IMPULSE-"

He waved his arms around, successfully getting the attention of the other hermit who waved and landed-- not so gracefully-- beside him.

Impulse stumbled and shot him a grin, "Hey man!"

The demon cleared his throat and playfully nudged the other hermit

"Don't 'hey man' me!" Putting on a friendly look of anger

The brunette gulped and looked away

"Yeah about that-"

"Mhm?!"

They stared at each other and started laughing, Impulse wiping his tears from laughing so hard at the sight before him.

Tango calmed down and sighed, smiling at the other

"Well boat shenanigans aside..." He pointed to the mountain behind the little shopping area

"Why don't we go and have a chat there huh? It's way more peaceful up there" he chuckled

Impulse nodded and huffed out a laugh, "Sounds great man"

[ At the mountain ]

"So...what did you wanna talk about?"

Impulse asked curiously while fixing his hair into a cleaner ponytail

"Well for starters let's catch up a bit..."

The two talked for quite a long time, catching up on projects, the chaos in their side of the server, it was a nice chat. Tango with his stories about the Big Eyed Crew and Impulse about Boatem, it was fun for both sides to hear each other's stories.

Impulse was talking about how they also boated Doc and Rens base until Tango got a bit distracted by a little something in the air.

"The tower was huge! I'm pretty su-"

Impulse stopped and noticed tango was looking at something else, something behind him?

The brunette was confused so he looked behind him to see...oh! A little parrot! The bird landed on Impulse's shoulder and had...a letter in its mouth?

"Aww look at that!" Tango said laughing at the sight of his best friend with a bird, the blonde noticed a slight red tint on his friend's face. "Uhmm buddy?"

Impulse jolted and slightly shocked the parrot, he chuckled. "O-OH YEAH!"

He let out his finger near the parrot and it went on it, dropping the letter on his other hand. Impulse chuckled and let the bird fly away by ringing the small bell on its neck, he smiled nervously and looked at his friend beside him who was astounded.

Tango has no words.

The blonde was shocked, his best friend just got along with a random parrot from who knows where and sent it off; receiving a damn letter. He was very confused

"I- Uh- What??" Tango stammered in utter confusion

"Uhhh- I can explain..?" Impulse nervously stated while scratching the back of his neck

The demon stared at him with a dead and still very confused look that says "go on, I'm waiting", it almost scared the life out of the brunette.

The other hermit cleared his throat and started explaining

"So this little letter here is from Grian-" he waved it around "It's a system we made if the other wasn't near them"

"But couldn't you just use your communicators?" Tango raised his eyebrow

"O-oh! Well G thought it would be fun and I guess cute heheh" Impulse chuckled softly

By the time Impulse had finished explaining, Tango was still confused. He understood most of it but was stuck

"What do you mean by cute?" He said out loud

Impulse jolted and looked away, blushing

"So uhmm I don't think I've told you yet that..."

Tangos gave a questionable and curious look that made the other gulp

"Me and Grian are...dating?"

The brunette covered his face with his hands in embarrassment, he and Grian were dating for a few months and the other was okay with him telling others but Impulse was still a bit shy.

Of course, he eventually had to tell his closest friend on the server about the news. Can't keep him in the dark for too long

The demon beside him sat there in shock

His best friend was dating Grian? He didn't even notice him have feelings for the guy and now they're dating?

This was officially the biggest news he's heard in a while, more surprising than the boats-

After a few minutes of awkward silence, Tango decided that he didn't wanna keep torturing the poor guy with anxiety.

"So...When did you two start?"

Impulse smiled, "Around the start of the season, we've been together for a few months now."

"Really!? I thought you went longer than that!" He looked at the other shocked

"Ehh??? Well yeah I liked him around near the end of season 6 and I think he also liked me mid season 7 but-"

"YOU COULD'VE BEEN DATING A YEAR AGO-"

Impulse pushed his friend on the shoulder, laughing while blushing in embarrassment, "TANGO!"

Tango smirked and laid down on the grass, putting his hands behind his head.

"Ah god- I'm still processing all of - this!"

"Yeah...Sorry for keeping you in the dark for a while"

"Nahh its fine, I understand heh" he shrugged

The two fell into a comfortable silence this time, Tango laying on the grass while Impulse sat with his knees folded up to his neck. Both are calmed down, looking at the scene before them and enjoying the chaos.

. . .

"Your new boyfriend's an asshole."

"Wha-"

- Hello again! Long time no see~ I literally just made this because I thought about Tango telling Impulse his new boyfriends an asshole cuz of the boats XDD
