Deathly Hallows- 𝓗𝓪𝓻𝓻𝔂 𝓟𝓸𝓽𝓽𝓮𝓻

Jax

Marlene walked into the living room, she stopped when she saw Jax with his sleeve up and saw the Dark Mark, "Jax?"

Jax turned around and looked almost guilty, "You weren't meant to see that."

"What did you do? Where's Mrs Hudson?" Marlene asked

Jax took out his wand, "She's fine. I didn't want to hurt any of you. You're my friends."

"Then don't. Choose who you are, put the wand down and let's talk about this." Marlene said as she kept her eyes on Jax but took her wand out

Jax shook his head, "I wish it was that easy. I don't have a choice. I do like you...Marlene."

"Haven't heard that name in a while. Almost forgot what it sounded like...sorry Jax. Incarcarous!"

Jax deflected Marlene's spell easily, he then threw one of his own not a second later

"Protego!" Marlene put her wand in front of her raised hand and the protection was cast just in time

"Cru-!"

Marlene cut Jax off, "Confringo!" Part of Jax's t-shirt caught on fire

Marlene ran and got behind one of the doors. She moved to the side when Jax hit the wall with a spell and it exploded, She quickly raised her wand behind her, "Expulso!"

She heard an explosion but didn't look around the door

A few seconds later she saw Maisy, Ethan and Mike running down the stairs, "Don't! Stay where you are! It's Jax he's with them! Find Mrs Hudson she's here somewhere!"

Maisy nodded as the group split up, there was silence for a moment before she heard Jax, "I have to say I'm impressed. I see why they want you back so badly."

"Jax! Please! Choose the right side!" Marlene shouted as she threw another spell behind her

She then heard people apparate in, "What's going on Rabastian?"

"Fenwick." Marlene said under her breath

Marlene waited a second before she ran, dodging spells that were flying at her before she got into Ethan and Mike's bedroom, she shut the door behind her and leant up against it, "You're actually alive. Impressive." Mike said

"Don't sound so happy." Marlene said as she saw Ethan, Mike, Maisy and Mrs Hudson who was sitting down, "You all okay?"

Maisy nodded, "We're all good. What is happening?"

"Jax. Who's name is apparently Rabastian is a Death Eater

"Hide." Mrs Hudson said, "All of you hide. Now. You don't come out no matter what you hear."

Ethan shook his head, "We're not letting you go out there on your own."

"Come out! We know you're in here!"

Mike sighed, "Shit. What do we do?"

"I can't apparate. They've put a barrier." Ethan said

Marlene nodded, "Probably Fenwick. Knock him out, it might go down."

"Wait Fenwick's here?" Ethan asked and Marlene nodded 

They all looked at the wall as they heard the door get kicked in, "Hide all of you. Now."

Marlene nodded as she got behind the door, and Ethan crouched behind the sideboard that was in the corner of the room, Maisy and Mike got under the bed, Mrs Hudson picked up a book and sat down on a chair just as three Death Eater's kicked the door in .

"You the owner of this house?" Cygnus asked

Mrs Hudson nodded, "I am. And I would appreciate it if you didn't blow it to pieces."

Cygnus grabbed Mrs Hudson and put his wand under her chin, "Marlene! We know you're in here. Come out and we'll let her go! No one has to die here. But they will!"

Marlene walked out from where she was hiding with her hands up, "Let her go...let her go!"

"Marlene?" Mrs Hudson asked

"Hands up Lupin." Fenwick said

Marlene slowly raised her hands, she quickly took her wand out of her hair and flicked it at Cygnus blasting him threw the wall, "Go!" Marlene shouted

Ethan came out from where he was hiding and started to help Marlene block and send spells towards the Death Eaters.

Mrs Hudson ran as Ethan pulled Marlene behind a wall as more Death Eaters walked into the house, Marlene covered her mouth as she saw a green light across the room, "We'll find you Lupin, you can't run forever!" Cygnus shouted, "No matter who you have on your side!"

"Try me." Marlene called out

"Get over here!" Ethan shouted to Maisy and Mike who were crouching down the side of the bed, throwing spells

Mike and Maisy ran across the room covering their heads as Death Eaters threw spells at them

Ethan was behind Marlene as he whispered, "Do you have anywhere to go?" Marlene paused before she shook her head, "Fenwick's out I can get us out of here do you trust me?"

Marlene nodded, "I do." Mike took Maisy's hand and put his free hand on Ethan's shoulder

Ethan took Marlene's hand and they apparated away just as Cygnus stood up and the rest of the Death Eaters came around the corner.
