Marlene apparated into an alleyway, she leaned up against the wall and held her side just as a door opened. Marlene winced as she quickly moved to the other side of the alley and an old lady looked out of the door, "Apparating for the first time huh? Always noisy... I'm not going to hurt you. I hide people like you, you don't have to tell me your name if you don't want to. I'm not going to hurt you."
"How do I know?" Marlene asked
"You don't. But I can tell you've clearly been through something, you're clearly in pain, I can help and you need to let me or you're going to die out here."
Marlene shook her head, "I'm okay, really. I'm fine."
"You're not. Don't make me drag you in here. Cause I will."
Marlene shook her head and said, "It'll put you in danger."
"I'm already in danger, how many people do you think I have in here. If you haven't noticed we're at war, everyone's in danger. Now...I'm Mrs Hudson let me help you. Please." Mrs Hudson said
Marlene paused before she nodded, Mrs Hudson held out her arm and helped Marlene into her house, "Come on love let's get you cleaned up. Do you have a name?."
"Luna. Bletchley. It's Luna Bletchley." Marlene said
Mrs Hudson gave her a sceptical look, "Don't buy that for a minute but okay Luna. Come on." She opened a door and Marlene walked in
Mrs Hudson looked up the stairs and shouted, "One of you pains get down here some help would be appreciated. I am an old woman you know!"
Within a few seconds a boy with light brown hair quickly walked down the stairs, "Which you never fail to remind us Mrs H." He walked towards the door and saw Marlene, "Woah you don't look so hot."
"Don't feel it either." Marlene said as she slowly lowered herself down onto the chair that was in the room
"I'm Mike." Mike said as he started looking through the cupboards, "Don't have any dittany sorry, used it all this morning so muggle med kit is going to have to do."
Marlene took her jacket off which had big rips in it, "Luna. No magic?"
"Magic can trace and we don't know who is on the Ministry's radar." Mike said as he stood on a stool, "Where is this damn thing I just saw it."
Mrs Hudson sighed as she saw the amount of bruises, cuts and gashes that Marlene had on you, she moved a chair in front of Marlene saying, "The world hasn't been kind to you has it?"
"You could say that." Marlene said
"Aha! Got it." Mike said as he handed Mrs Hudson a box, "There you go Mrs H. See you around...Luna."
Mike then walked out of the room, "He's a flirt from what I can tell. All of them came here in similar situations to you. Running, scared, probably forced out of their homes. You want to tell me your story." Marlene shook her head, "I'll let you tell me in your own time. This will hurt sorry." Marlene winced as Mrs Hudson started to stich up her cuts, "High pain tolerance huh?"
Marlene nodded, "Pain isn't a new thing to me lately...how many people are here?"
"Five now including you." Mrs Hudson said
Marlene shook her head and said, "I can't stay Mrs Hudson, it's just putting you in danger."
"As I already said we're all in danger already. I'm harbouring four people who are running how much more danger can I be in." Mrs Hudson said
Once she was finished Mrs Hudson stood up walked over to the cabinet, put the box away, picked up another box from the shelf, "I noticed that you didn't have a wand so..." She sat back down and opened the box which was full of wands, "Take your pick."
"I'm not even going to ask." Marlene said as she picked up a wand
Mrs Hudson put the box down and said "How long were you there?"
"Where?" Marlene asked
Mrs Hudson gave her a look, "Wherever you were."
Marlene paused before she realised she had no idea, "I...I don't know. I don't know."
"That's okay. It's 21st of September now does that help?" Mrs Hudson asked
Marlene thought about it before she said, "3 weeks."
"I am so sorry. But you're safe here. There's Mike who you've met. Maisy, Jax and Ethan. Ethan probably won't be around today but Maisy will she's a sweetheart you'll like her." Mrs Hudson said as she put the wand box back
Marlene looked at her and said, "You don't even know me. You don't know me and yet you let me in, helped me. I could be a death Eater for all you know."
"Looking like that? I don't think so." Mrs Hudson said as she sat back down
She took out her wand and Marlene moved backwards. Mrs Hudson quickly put the wand down, "Hey, it's okay, it's okay. I'm not going to hurt you."
"I-I'm sorry." Marlene said
Mrs Hudson sighed and said, "It's okay. Can I?" Marlene nodded and she picked her wand back up again, and moved it down the cuts that were on Marlene's arm, "I thought you said magic could trace."
"It can. I'm good though. Glamour magic doesn't normally trace as normally people don't look for it they just use Polyjuice which is why I'm teaching everyone here it just in case." Mrs Hudson said and the wounds of Marlene disappeared, "They're still there so don't go doing anything stupid, you just can't see them but...but I can't do anything with these ones."
Marlene looked to where Mrs Hudson was looking and saw that she was talking about her werewolf scars, "You're not going to be able to do anything with them."
"Werewolf huh?" Mrs Hudson asked
Marlene gave her a look and said, "You say that as if it's normal."
"Why shouldn't it be. You're just as human as I am." Mrs Hudson said, "Tea?"
Marlene paused as Mrs Hudson stood up and walked to the door, "Yeah...yeah tea would be great thank you."
