Marlene was sitting on the kitchen table with a letter in front of her, Alex walked into the room saying, "I've got news."
"Nothing ever good starts with that sentence." Marlene said
Alex pulled out a chair and sat down, "I got a letter."
Marlene groaned as she put her head on the table, "That's even worse!"
"We've been stationed."
Marlene looked up at him, "Just stop talking. Please."
"At Hogwarts."
Marlene stood up, "Alexander Fenwick your mouth needs to stop moving right now."
"Full blowed, death eater stationing. Lene this is the full blown shit. Finally, we can finally do some important shit instead of sending the order little pieces of information."
Marlene walked out of the room, "Right where is my wand! Carina! Where's my wand I'm hexing Alex into next week!"
"I gave you a holster come on!" Kaz shouted from the living room

A few hours later, Marlene was sitting on her bed with her packed bag beside her, she opened the flap of the camera and turned it on
"Hi Marlene, love the name they chose well whilst they thought I was dead. Sorry there is a huge gap we...lost the camera but you are one years old now and...seven months. I'm not even mildly annoyed that you have the brown hair from Sirius you've got my eyes. You're perfect the way you are. Dorcas and Sirius both adore you and I don't blame them. The last one you saw was probably of Sirius. I'm fine. I had to lead the Death Eaters away from you they're not getting you not whilst I'm still alive. Anyway let's catch you up. You're asleep pretty sure Dorcas and Sirius are also asleep, we spent two hours trying to find your blasted black dog toy from James. Oh yeah James and Lily had Harry and Alice and Frank had Neville. I can just tell you're going to be friends you're the oldest so you're going to kick their arses and I expect nothing less. They've gone into hiding so haven't seen them for a while. Remus is also around a lot I think he still likes having Sirius for his monthly issues. I am going to go see if I can find the other toy that you like. So...I love you so much, bye baby."
"You nervous?"
Marlene looked up and saw Marcel walking into the room, "About going back."
"Last time I was there, my pack got killed, I got tortured and I left my friends in the lions den, who knows what's happened to them in that place, and now I need to go and be a part of it." Marlene said
Marcel sat down on the bed, "Harry was spotted in Hogsmeade this morning, if you go, you can find him. This can end. We can go home."
"Do we even have homes anymore? Alex and Kaz don't. None of us are the same people we were before." Marlene said, and it was true, when she first stepped foot in Hogwarts she was a small, happy, kind child.
But now, now she was a cold blooded killer. Who had killed simply to survive. Who did horrible things simply to survive.

In the living room Alex and Marlene were getting ready to leave, "You kill my cat you die." Marlene said
Kaz nodded, "We've got an understanding." Marlene smiled as she hugged him, "You be careful, okay?"
Marlene nodded as she said, "Always...don't get caught, you and I both know you wouldn't do well under torture."
Kaz scoffed, "And you would?"
Marlene raised an eyebrow, "I did."
Kaz nodded as he walked over to Alex as Carina hugged Marlene, "You'll be okay. Kaz won't let anything happen to you. You and I both know that."
Carina pulled away and looked at Marlene, "You know?" Marlene smiled, "Dammit."
Marlene then walked over to Marcel, "I don't want to go."
"I know you don't. Lion's den remember, if you find him, you can help him end this." Marcel said, he sighed as he hugged her, "Don't die please."
Marlene chuckled, "I'll try...you know you would have been a really good dad."
Marcel looked at her, then smiled, "Thanks." He moved her to the side of the room, "You didn't give them up...that's how we know we're safe. You and Alex you've dealt with more pain then any of us, you didn't give your family up, they gave themselves up. You know that right?"
"It's like you know exactly what to say to me." Marlene said, even in the short time that Marcel and Marlene had been together there were very few people that Marlene would trust with her life, Marcel Myers being one of them.
