The small wood house behind Simone's villa had always had a special place in Manuel's heart. He felt like it was Simone's special place and the fact that he had brought him there so many times meant the world to him. And now that they were dating it had become even more special. They used to go there when they wanted to spend some time alone, laying on the grass when the weather felt nice. But what he had never understood was why that little house was abandoned like it was. And he never asked simply because he wanted Simone to do things whenever he felt ready, not because he had felt forced to do it, so it was gonna stay a misteri till then.

"Simò" he said looking up to him. He had his head on his stomach and Simone was reading. They were laying on his bed and he was supposed to be reading too, but his mind was stuck there.
"Yeah?" The other didn't look up from his book.
"Why don't we tidy up the small wood house you have in here? And it also has a swimming pool so we could use it during summer time" he told him. Simone closed his book and smiled at him. He looked like a kid asking for something with his big brown eyes.
"It's a lot of work tho and you hate any kind of physical activity"
"I very much do not hate any kind of physical activity, in fact there's one that i..." but Simone interrupted him.
"Okay okay I get it. And we could do it if you'll help me. It could be a nice spot to spend time in"

Manuel sat up and held his face in his hands kissing him everywhere. Simone laughed and tried to tickle him to make him stop.
"Best boyfriend in the world!" Manuel screamed and got up. Simone smiled looking at him almost losing balance and falling cause of the excitement. It filled his heart with joy seeing him like that, it's true it had taken them so much time to get where they were, but it was all worth it and Simone would do it all over again.
He got up and walked fast so he could reach Manuel that was already out of the house. He was small but damn he was fast.

"Okay listen I've thought it all. We clean the pool, then we tidy this whole thing up but first we gotta take care of the grass"
Simone just looked at him explain everything he wanted to get done, he hadn't lied when he said he had it all planned in his head, he went on for minutes before Simone stopped him.
"When even have you thought of all this?"
"It's been in my head for a few days now"
"You're so cute!"
"Don't call me cute, I'm a big tough guy" he said showing his muscles. Simone giggled and mimed him.
"I'm a big tough guy" and kept laughing, Manuel pretended to be offended and walked inside the small house.

It definitely needed to get cleaned and tidied up, it was full of random stuff, old book and dust. They discussed on who should've started cleaning and after a while Manuel convinced him to start so he could follow his instructions.
They started working, taking sometimes long long breaks cause Manuel absolutely loved distracting his boyfriend, so it took them ages. And they went on for days and days, they'd go to school in the morning, go back home, study and then spend the rest of the day there. It was coming up very pretty tho. They'd cleaned the grass with Dante's help, that had taken advantage of the situation to spend some time with his son that was always in a more approachable mood when he was with Manuel.
Simone had bought little lights to hang around and had brought from home some covers and pillows, he had also managed to find a sofa, a used one, and they had washed it all together making nonna Virginia go through three different nervous breakdowns cause of the whole mess.
Manuel hadn't told Simone, but he had also got some people to clean the pool, mum's friends, and they did it all while they were away, with an excuse Manuel had taken Simone away for a few more hours after school, to surprise him.
And it did work.

"Come come come!" He grabbed his hand and led a very tired Simone to the pool. It was clean and full, ready for them to swim in it.
"Manu please I'm tired can we go to bed" he begged while walking through the garden.
"We will I promise you but come with me"
And finally they got there. Simone's mouth opened in surprise and he left Manuel's hand just so he could look closer. Everything was perfect. Little lights were lighting up their little bubble, the pool right next to it was clean and the night sky was reflected on it making it all even more magical.

Simone turned to him with the biggest smile he had ever given to someone, Manuel caught the little sparks in his eyes and his heart clenched with love. He was so in love with this man, he was ready to give him the world just to see his eyes shine like that everyday.
"I love all this so much" he finally spoke.
"I'm glad you do"
"And I love you"
"I love you too, but now we have to try this out!" He said and then kissed him just before starting to take off his clothes. He meant it when he said he wanted to try it.
"What? We're in the middle of march! Manuel please you'll catch a cold let's wait for it to get a bit warmer"
But it was useless cause he was already jumping inside causing a loud splash and water all over him. Simone laughed and Manuel reappeared in the surface with his hair sticking to his forehead making him even cuter. He moved them out of the way and looked at his boyfriend laughing at him.
"You don't know what you're missing, I swear it feels like paradise. Come on in"
"I'm gonna freeze!"
"I'll warm you up"

And just like that Simone ended up in water with Manuel playing around him threatening him to splash him if he didn't go under water with him. It definitely was not the right weather to be basically naked in cold water but they really seemed to be in their own world, far away from that place, in some desert island enjoying themselves.
"You look so hot with your hair all over the place Balestra" Manuel told him circling his hips with his arms. Simone smiled and put his arms around his neck in return.
"Do I Ferro?"
"You do yeah. Incredibly hot why lie"
"So what you're gonna do about that?" They loved teasing each other.
"Oh you'll see what I'll do about that"

And they spent their first night in their happy bubble loving each other. Whispering and showing every bit of the feelings they had, both grateful to have found their half. They fell asleep lulled by each other's heartbeats and the sky watching over them.
