- manuel finds out simone drank again. and does most definitely not react like he did on the new episode.

Manuel walked through the streets like a wild animal had taken ownership of his body. He was not thinking, nor watching his steps, and he almost fell by tripping on his feet but it did not matter to him.

All it mattered to him right now was "Simone got drunk last night".

Memories were back like a storm in his head, he had seen black for a moment before literally getting up without a word and finding himself on the way to Simone's house, by feet, not even considering it was gonna take him at least a good half an hour. It didn't matter. Simone was everything that mattered.

All he could think about was Simone's pale body laying in a hospital room, his eyes closed and him waiting to see them again. It was hell. The mere thought of losing him had driven him insane and they'd promised each other it was not gonna happen again, not if they weren't with each other.

Panting and sweating he reached his final destination, his fists tense in his pocket, and his feet hurting from the fast walking.
He hoped Mimmo was not home, he needed to do this alone with Simone, and he didn't like the guy anyway so it was just a bonus point.

"Simò?" he called. The house was pretty much silent, the only thing you could hear were the noises from outside.
"Simò? You home?" he kept calling walking the stairs to get to his room. The anger he felt was still there, but he put it aside just for a second, just the time to find who he was looking for and put some sense into his damn mind.

He opened the door to his room without knocking, he had too much going on to remember good manners, and also he was just Simone. This was common for them.

"Simone i swear to god yo-.." he started speaking when he noticed Simone under the covers half asleep. He had gotten startled by Manuel, but his eyes were still puffy and struggling to stay open.

"What's wrong? Something happened? Is it Mimmo?" Simone asked now sitting.
Manuel rolled his eyes. That damn criminal was always in the middle of everything and he was growing tired of it. He needed to put an end to it.

"Your Mimmo is fine" he said. Something about his voice was annoyed, Simone noticed.

"What's wrong then? Are you okay?" Simone continued.
There must've been a good reason for him to storm in his room looking like he had just ran a marathon.

"You're seriously asking me if i'm okay?" Manuel bit back. The way Simone didn't get his frustration was increasing his anger even more. Why couldn't he just understand what he was feeling?

"You look like you ran here?" the other stated and Manuel saw red.

"I did run here because you asshole got drunk again yesterday night didn't you? After what we went through Simone? What the fuck is wrong with you" His voice now louder and firmer.

Simone felt like someone had just slapped him. He knew Manuel would eventually have found out but he did not expect his words to hit him like they'd done.

"What the fuck is wrong with you i should ask? I did, so what? I interrupted your time with Nina? What is it?" Simone spit out while getting out of bed.

He never really understood Manuel, that wasn't a secret. He liked to think that he at least had an idea of what was going on in Manuel's brain but recently things were different. He didn't recognise his best friend anymore, they barely talked to each other and it felt like they were strangers again for some aspects. So he didn't understand why he would care this much to come barging in his house and ask questions.

"What are you talking about?"

"When's the last time we've talked Manuel? What's the latest update about my life that you're aware of? Do you even care about me?"

"Of course i care about you" Manuel replied. Hurt. But deserved.

"My father is sick! Did you know? Of course you didn't you spend your days out and come back just to sleep, not even that sometimes. So what do you want me to do?"

"Talk to me!"

"You don't listen to me! You never have Manuel!" Simone screamed. And they both knew it had a deeper meaning than what it seemed.

"I'm always talking to you, god, i'm always looking your way, always helping you, always putting you before myself even, always. Have you done anything even remotely similar Manuel?"

Manuel gulped. He knew he was right.

"Look i'm sorry if lately i haven't been as present as before but-.." Manuel started but Simone wasn't gonna have any of it.

"I don't need your apology. I don't care. You don't mean it and you'll be back to doing what you've been doing for weeks now. Go back to Nina, go do whatever" he spoke.

"You drank" Manuel repeated again.

"So what?" Simone shouted.

"Do you have any idea of what you put me through? Of the fear of losing you? Do you have any idea of it?" he burst back even louder.

"The fear of losing me? You don't look scared Manuel. You are losing me and you aren't doing anything to prevent it. So no, i don't have any idea of it"

They looked at each other. They'd gotten closer as the argument had gotten heated. Manuel noticed his eyes filled with tears and felt his get teary too.
They were losing each other, and Manuel realised right in that moment.

"You're so fucking dumb" Manuel said before pressing his lips on Simone's.

The younger was breathless, completely gone. Probably stuck in another universe or in another parallel life he couldn't believe was real.
He kissed him back. Getting a taste of his lips after months, finally feeling like he wasn't under water anymore. Breathing.
Simone grabbed the sides of his head and deepened it, Manuel's hands grabbed his waist and moved him closer. Their bodies recognising each other, finally able to touch after months of struggle and yearning.

"Are you convinced now? That you matter most than anything else to me? Goddamn it Simone wake up" he spoke into his lips.

Simone murmured something into his lips and kissed him again.
Manuel held him again, and he could feel the fear this was gonna be just another kiss in the way Simone grabbed him.

"I'm not leaving. I'm right here with you" he spoke again and Simone quickly nodded before kissing him again.

"Simò, look at me" Manuel pulled away and took his face into his hands. "I'm not leaving. I'm yours, god my heart beats for you like it hasn't done for anyone else before."

Simone smiled.

"I know. I was just waiting for you to find out though" he said. "Took you a while" he added.

Manuel laughed.

Love was easy at the end of the day. Two hearts that beat for each other belong together. Time and space will always find a way to reunite them.
Love was easy, and it felt like you had finally found your purpose on this earth. And Manuel was glad he had.
