AN: I'm not sure if I already said it, but this is a short book. Or maybe short in my own opinion. 😅 This book is just light. There are some serious scenes but I won't make it super heavy. So this book is basically about stupid Jin and crazy Tae. 😊💜

***

Jin puts a chunk of steak in his mouth and eats noisily while Taehyung watches him with a smile. "What?!" Jin hissed.

Taehyung, with his chin on his hand shook his head, "Do you really think you will turn me off by doing that?"

Jin makes chewing even more louder, "This is how I eat. What are you talking about?"

Taehyung shrugs and proceeds in eating the meal in front of him. His eyes goes back to Jin when Jin suddenly burps loud. Taehyung chuckles and his eyes goes back to cutting the steak.

Noticing that Taehyung doesn't care about what he's doing, Jin drops his utensils and leans back to his chair. He could not understand why this man would waste time on him. He's a celebrity. There are lots of other actors or actresses, even models he could date. And he's a grandson of the hospital owner where he was working. Taehyung has it all. The fact that he already knows that he's already taken, he wondered what's making this man insist.

"How much did you pay Jimin?" Jin asked, giving Taehyung a knowing look.

Taehyung wiped his mouth with a napkin before turning to Jin, "Why don't you eat while we talk?"

Jin crossed his arms while tapping his foot, not wanting the date, if it's a date, to progress, "Do you think I have an appetite for this? So, how much, or what did you pay Jimin for him to spill everything about my past?"

Taehyung chuckled amused by Jin's reaction, "After eating chunks of steaks and burping loud, you don't have an appetite? Wow, I wonder what if you have."

"I can eat you."

Taehyung smirks as he raised an eyebrow at Jin, "I would love that."

Realizing what he just said, Jin swallows regretting why he's not good in counter attacks, "Answer my question!"

"You don't trust your friend? I mean, do you really think he will betray you like that?"

Jin barked a laugh, fingering his collar as annoyance makes the veins in his throat throb, "He already did. I know him. He can be tempted easily. With food, and, well, I hate to say it, with hot men. So which of the two did he ask for him to betray me?"

Taehyung laughed, thinking Jin's reactions were funny. Indeed, Jin knew his friend well, "Kim Seokjin. This is me, Kim Taehyung. We're schoolmates. I'm the quiet guy who punched your bully. I'm sure you remember me. You're purposely trying not to, in my opinion."

Jin was hesitant to believe but it's true. He used to have a very quiet classmate. That kid was cold and distant. Someone he did not expect who would stand up for him. But he did. He was thankful but he was shy when he was in middle school that he wasn't able to say thank you to the boy.

"So, what did Jimin tell you about that tree?" Jin asked, indeed, he purposely tried to avoid Taehyung's opinion.

"Seokjin..."

"Jin..."

"Jin, Jimin did not say anything. Jimin is not aware yet that I was your middle school classmate. I admit, I asked him to message me once you're ready to go home and your plan to take the bus. Nothing more. I promised him I'll bring Yoongi in return. He did not spill anything about you and why would he? I'm not lying. I like you way back in Middle school."
