Jungkook watched in amusement as his brother opened and closed his mobile phone. Clicking his tongue, typing a word or two, then deciding to just delete it and close his phone.
"Not a smooth date?" Jungkook asked, sounding playful. "I haven't seen you calm the past few days."
Taehyung cupped his face with his hands. Not sure if he needed to open up to Jungkook. Afraid his young brother would laugh at him as everyone knew him as someone who never loses.
"Did you tell him? Oh, I mean, did he believe you?" Jungkook taunted, wanting to annoy his brother.
Taehyung's raised his eyebrow at Jungkook, indeed, getting annoyed. "He believed me, I'm sure of that. He's just madly in love with that bastard."
Jungkook laughed, loving how petty his brother was. "You're talking about his boyfriend, what do you expect? And what happened that night, I'm sure he won't forget it."
"He should be thankful he landed on me."
Jungkook sighed and placed the breakfast he prepared for Taehyung, "Confidence is sexy but overconfidence is sometimes annoying. Check on yours. I'll get going. Sunoo has a check-up today."
Taehyung's eyes brightened, chewing fast, and leaving the food on the table.
"Hey! Where are you going?"
"What time is Sunoo's check-up?" Taehyung asked following Jungkook.
"10 am."
Taehyung held his brother's shoulder and smiled, "Thank you. Next time, inform me in advance."
Jungkook frowned, murmuring as he watched his brother walk away to his bedroom, "Isn't you who is supposed to know that?"

Namjoon, after looking around, with a bag in his hand, entered Jin's apartment. Intentionally not opening the lights as he quietly walk towards the hallway going to the bedrooms. He turned the knob but almost jumped in horror when someone pulled it from the inside.
"Oh, shit!" Namjoon held his chest, surprised that Jimin was about to walk out when he was about to walk in.
Jimin who was more confused than scared, stared at Namjoon for a while before questioning his presence, "Jin is not here. But how did you get in?"
Namjoon smiled awkwardly, scratching the back of his neck, and shyly met eyes with Jimin, "Well... I actually have a key to the house. Jin let me borrow his."
Jimin pouted, still trying to read Namjoon's facial expressions and body language.
"Okay. Please don't tell Jin I came here. This is a secret. I came here because I'm planning to surprise him."
"Surprise? It's not his birthday."
"I know. But I'm planning a proposal."
Jimin's eyes slowly widened. "You will propose to Jin? As in, in marriage?"
Namjoon smiled shyly, "Well, yes. I went here because I'm planning to check if the decorations I bought are right in size so I can just if ever it's too short or you know..."
Jimin giggled, obviously getting giddy over Namjoon's plans. He took a look at Namjoon's bag and noticed the decorations inside. "Jin doesn't like blue. And those looks like flags for a birthday party. Did you do your research?"
Namjoon shook his head. "You know I'm not that techie."
"Understood. Anyway. My suggestion, is you buy flower petals, pink and warm white fairy lights, pink and white balloons, scented pink and white candles, and you make a Will You Marry Me out of flower petals. Jin loves pink! Aren't you aware?"
