So sorry, guys. I have a lot of work to do with school and stuff. I may not be able to update for a while. Especially since I have a school trip from April 17 and I won't be back 'til May 10. So sorry again.

Gabriel blinks furiously after they had descended, rubbing at his eyes. “I will never get used to that. It’s too bright.”

Michael raises a brow. “You’re an angel, you should get used to the light.”

Sure.” Gabriel says sarcastically, plucking the sunglasses from Michael’s face. “Cheater.”

Uriel ignores the bickering. Instead, he focuses at the frozen angel of death beside him. “Samael?”

When he gets no response, he tentatively pokes Samael’s cheek. “Are you okay?”

Angels, demons, and other beings peer at them curiously, wondering what exactly was going on.

Gabriel pokes the other side of Samael’s face, a curious look on his face when this also goes ignored. “I think he’s dead.”

Asmodues and Lilith suddenly appear in front of the still angel. “Samy~ Long time no see!”

This, at least, earns a reply. “I will kill him.”

Lilith wraps her arms around Samael’s neck. “Who are you going to kill, darling?”

“Your son.” Bit by bit, Samael’s face fills with rage. “How dare he lay his lips on her?! Her chastity is at stake!”

Uriel holds him back, as he throws himself at the space that was once occupied by the Class A.

“Samael, they’re gone.” He says, trying in vain to placate the fuming angel. “Don’t go after them.”

Samael lets out a cry of outrage as Gabriel grabs him as well. He was no match for two archangels. “Let me go!”

There is a sudden burst of dark energy, strong enough to tousle the hair of those in close proximity. Two figures are barely seen in the whirl of dark.

Michael snorts, crossing his arms over his chest. “Show-off.”

All demons bow respectfully, even Sitri who was previously trying to seduce Raphael.

As soon as the dark energy dissipates, Gabriel launches himself at one of the figures. “Luci!”

It was a rare show of childishness, one Gabriel only showed in the presence of his demonic older brother.

Lucifer catches Gabriel easily enough, returning his embrace and burying his face in his younger brother’s hair. “Gabe.”

Lucifer releases the angel and walks over to them, not minding Gabriel who still clings to him like an octopus. Malphas follows his languidly, eyes sweeping the crowd.

“Gabriel let go of him. You’ll start sullying yourself if you don’t” Michael berates. Gabriel ignores him and instead burrows his face further into the dark lord’s shoulder.

“I have missed you too, brother.” Lucifer greets, his voice genuine. Michael looks away haughtily.

Uriel lets go of Samael, accepting the hug Lucifer offers wordlessly. It is a little awkward, having Gabriel squished between the two of them.

Uriel gives Lucifer a gentle smile. “I’m glad you could come.”

Lucifer looks at Samael expectantly, chuckling when the angel of death relents and hugs him. Lucifer was his brother too and Samael greatly missed his presence.
