The doors of the classroom slammed open loudly causing most of the students to jump slightly in their seats. Aeron hid her face behind her math book, hoping no one noticed her.

She had no such luck.

"Aeron! There you are!" A loud voice exclaimed, an exuberant boy ran towards her desk, completely disregarding the sputtering teacher behind him.

"Nathan, what are you doing here?" Aeron hissed, lowering her book onto the desk. She rubbed her temple, trying to calm herself.

The taller male just laughed airily. The brunette with gold eyes had every girl in the room swooning and shooting Aeron jealous glares.

Nathan, however, remained ignorant to all the attention aimed at him, he flashed the fuming girl in front of him a smile. "Aery," he started, earning a withering look from Aeron, "you-" he pointed at her, "are expected in Class A. Everyone else, but you, is there, Gabriel is worried you know?"

He laughed again. "You don't even belong in this class."

Aeron groaned, her cover was blown, the teacher checked his chart hurriedly, looking for Aeron's name. When he couldn't find it he reddened, angry and embarrassed by the two uninvited students.

"Out!" He shouted, ears burning. Aeron grabbed her things and rushed out, Nathan right on her heels.

"Bye Mr. Scott!" Nathan waved at the fuming teacher before the door was slammed in his face.

Aeron glared at her infuriating classmate, who ignored her, naturally, and they continued down the halls of Arion Academy.

The well-known private school was teeming with the country's richest and smartest students. The school was owned by an angel himself, and, because of this, he had a special classroom just for angels and their guardians. There weren't many since most angels couldn't be bothered to go to an expensive private school.

Aeron walked ahead of Nathan ignoring his calls for her to slow down.

When she arrived in front of the large, wooden double doors of Class A, she waited for Nathan. Both grabbing one of the golden handles, they pushed the doors open.

The rectangular room looked like a miniature lecture hall. It was roomier than most classrooms since there weren't many students. The room sparkled under the light of the glass chandeliers, complimenting the beautiful people in the room. Three students sat lazily on the desks.

Nathan's guardian greeted them first, hopping off the desk to stand in front of the two. The child-like male gave Aeron a mischievous grin. Black cat ears peeked out of his bluish black hair, wide green eyes shining with mischief.

"Someone's in trouble." The kid sang, his tail wrapping around his leg.

Aeron looked at the boy in annoyance. "Shut it, Carter. I don't want to hear that from someone who threatens to expose us by going half-cat all the time."

"It's just more comfortable this way," the other grinned, unfazed. "It looks cuter too."

"Besides,” he laughed, “if I'm going look like a child forever, might as well add to the appeal."

The male sitting lazily on one of the desks chuckled, his head resting on his right hand and signature white headphones hanging around his neck. Looking at him, it was hard to believe that he was the older brother of Nathan. With blonde hair and peircing blue eyes, he and Nathan were as different as black and white.

"He does have a point Aeron." The male said, amusement dancing in his eyes.

“Not now, Christian.” Aeron groaned. She walked towards the desk sitting on the table beside Christian’s arm. “I’m not in the mood for an argument.”
