Chapter 3

Bruno's vision
{Y/ns POV}
It was the next day and I wake up quite late "why did my dad not wake me up this morning?" I wonder while I get up and get dressed, I open my curtains and see the pretty view like always and I go downstairs for breakfast.

I walk down the stairs and my dad isn't there, I see a note and it says "hey honey, sorry I've not made breakfast I got a call early this morning with someone wanting to buy I house so I had to go buy I'll be home around 1 xx -dad" I'm a little bummed that I don't get to eat breakfast with my dad but I know work is important so I don't think about it much and go see Mirabel.

When I get to her house I go and knock on the door, Camilo answers "oh hi y/n" he says to me smiling "I came to see how Mirabel Is after last night "yeah well we are about to have a meal if you would like to join and you can talk to Mirabel then?" he asks, I nod and walk-in, after a few mins everyone comes downstairs "oh uh guys would it be okay if y/n joined our meal?" Camilo asks "oh course!" his Abuela says exited and we all walk outside to the table, I sit next to Camilo and I see Mirabel talking to Luisa when she slams the table and points "You do!" "sorry about this" Camilo whispers in my ear "its ok" I whisper back and when I look at Mirabel again she is now sitting up beside her Abuela, we all start eating and saying some stuff that I didn't pay attention to as I was eating then luisa leaves the table and a few seconds later Mirabel follows her "thank you so much for the meal" I smile and walk off behind mirabel

When I get down there I see Luisa singing? About not being nervous? I wasn't sure so I kinda listen in a bit "was Hercules ever like yo, I don't wanna fight Cerberus? Under the surface, I'm pretty sure I'm worthless if I can't be a service" Luisa was singing and I felt kinda bad for her, a few mins later the singing stopped and Mirabel and Luisa hug and Luisa says something to Mirabel I'm not quite sure what but then Mirabel says "how do I find a vision??" "When you see it you'll know" Luisa reply's while walking away holding donkeys, I walk over to Mirabel "what was that about?" I ask "I need to go to Bruno's tower!" She reply's "who?" I ask "Y'know the one who can see the future?" She explains "oh him, wait why do you need to go there?" I ask "ugh no time for talking let's go!" She says while dragging me off.

Mirabel drags me off to her house and up to Bruno's door "are you ready?" she asks "yea, why? Is it dangerous?!" I had so many questions but Mirabel just walks in and I follow,

"Stairs??" I complain but we start walking up to the top,

<Time skip about an hour>

We finally made it to the top of the never-ending stairs "great," Mirabel sighs as I look up to see there's a space where a bridge used to me "wait I got an idea!" I say "we can make something to get across" and point to the stairs, Mirabel walks over to the stairs and grabs the railing and makes something to get across, once we are across I see a room full of old stuff and I accidentally kick something and rats run out and run into a Bruno that's carved in the walls "uhh how about u wait outside..." I ask "nope you're coming with me!" Mirabel chucked and we went into the next room,

It was filled with sand and there was weird green glowing stuff in it, Mirabel starts to put some together and there one of me and one of her then the sand in the room starts to cave in so we grab all the green shards and put them in our backs and run out.

Once we get out of Bruno's room we walk into Mirabel's room and start putting the shards together and Mirabel's one is her standing outside a breaking house! And mine...I'm not sure what mine is, it's just a group of people with me hugging someone when Pepa walks in with a cloud above her head "sorry I didn't mean to scare you" she says "I just heard the name we do not speak" and Mirabel starts asking a whole bunch of questions about what would happen if he had a vision about someone, Felix runs in "it was a nightmare!" "We don't talk about Bruno!" Pepa complained and then...they start singing? "Damn people must like singing here," I think as Pepa and Felix sing about their wedding day.

{Dads POV}
I didn't like that I had to lie to my daughter but I didn't want her to know my secret...
