Your walk to the med bay with Wolffe was relatively silent as most of the men were still asleep and neither of you wanted to disturb them. You looked up at him with pleading eyes, silently begging him to not make you go back into the med bay.

" I know what your thinking little pup, but my answer is no. You need to learn your lesson about taking bullets for me, so you get to stay in the med bay tonight." his voice was low and gruff, but a small hint of laughter could be heard as well.

You couldn't help the small whimper that escaped your lips, " I know, I have a feeling a certain someone is waiting for me anyways."

Wolffe opened the door for you and you made your way to the private treatment room where you were always treated. Sitting on you medical cot was indeed your master, Plo Koon. He stood up, motioning for you to return to the cot.

" Much thanks for returning her safely Wolffe." he paused for a moment and then continued, " You are excused, go get some much needed rest."

Wolffe look back at you one last time before responding, " Yes sir." and he turned around and left for his own quarters.

You crawled into the cot, wanting to get this conversation over with as fast as possible.

" What have I told you about leaving the med bay young one? Next time I will issue an all points bulletin to find you." he spoke softly, though you could feel the disappointment behind his voice.

" I'm sorry master, I needed to clear the air with the men before I allowed myself to rest." Your tone came out slightly more sorrowful than you had hoped it would.

"You mean with Wolffe?" His voice filled with concern and curiosity.

" Yes. With Wolffe. He didn't appreciate that I took a blaster bullet to protect him. I think it hurt his ego." You chuckled at the last part, hoping it would lighten the mood.

" Hmm, I think i understand. Now please get some rest, we are needed by the 501st Legion. We will ship out tomorrow and I need you to be ready." his voice now back to its normal tone, he leaned down and pressed his forehead to yours, the unspoken symbol of loyalty and love between the two of you. he has been like a father to you since he rescued you from the hell that was Dathomir.

You smiled at him as he pulled away, " Yes master." and you pulled the covers up to your neck, trying to get comfortable with your shoulder.

Morning came too quickly for your liking, and that of the wolfpack. You put on your robes and fastened your lightsaber to the belt that Wolffe had gotten for you the last time he was on leave. Fastening you comm link to your forearm armor you let out a small sigh and began the walk to the flight hanger. Your eyes were pealed for a certain Commander, but he seemed to be late which was highly unlike him.

Wolffe approached behind you slowly as if he was stalking his prey, you felt his signature in the force and turned around swiftly. His face was inches away from yours, the smell of his morning caf flooding your nose.

" It's not nice to sneak up on someone, Commander." Your tone playful.

" We all have to di our part to keep our little pup on her toes." He replied with a gruff laugh. " You'll be riding with me and my squad." he paused for a moment looking around to see if any of his brothers were within ear shot. He lowered his lips to your ear and spoke in a whisper, " I need you where I can see you Meshla'. "

Comet, Sinker, Boost and Warthog boarded you transport with you, followed by some shinnies you hadn't had the chance to get the name of yet. You took your position between Boost and Wolffe, holding onto the lower handle bar that the boys had installed just for you. The first time you were aboard a transport you had nothing to hold onto, as you were too short to reach the bar above your head like the other troopers. Which resulted in you flying into Sinker and Boost when the ship lurched to the side.
