Saying Goodbye

It had been five months since you went on the run with Fives, the two of you had been investigating the inhibitor chips that are in every clone. Fives had his removed before he fled Kamino so you had been studying the chip to try and find any information on what it was for.

Fives said that the Kaminoians told him it was to prevent aggressive behavior in the clones, but Fives has been the same since having it removed. It was all very confusing to you, until you returned to Coruscant and  had a run in with someone you wished to never see again.

You returned to Coruscant to get more information on the chancellor, something fishy was going on with his involvement with the clones. What you weren't prepared for was an encounter with Ventress on the lower levels of Coruscant.

You and Fives were walking out of a local restaurant when you saw her, your breath catching in your throat. It didn't take long for her to spot you at well.

"It's dangerous coming back here, I heard you're on the most wanted list." She taunted at you. "It would bring a pretty price to turn you both in."

You stepped protectively in front of Fives, you would not let her hurt another one of your brothers.

"what do you know about these inhibiter chips in the clones?" You questioned her, wanting to get right to the point.

"Ah, your smarter than I give you credit for, my suggestion would be to get as far away from the clones as possible." She spoke back to you while pressing a small button on her comm link. "But I think I'll collect my reward before you can do that." She laughed mockingly at you.

Four Coruscant guards came barreling around the corner with their blasters raised at you and Fives.

"That's our que sunshine!" Fives shouted as he pulled you with him down the street.

Blaster fire was ringing through your ears and you ignited your sabers to deflect them, trying your best to not have any deflect into the civilians. Ventress was on the hunt for you as well, igniting her own sabers as she ran after the two of you.

Ventress lept in front of you, her sabers colliding onto yours with a loud sizzle.

"Get to the ship!" You shouted at fives as you continued your stand still with Ventress.

Your sabers were still sizzling against each other when the Coruscant guards caught up to you. Fox pointed his gun at you, something you never thought he would do after treating you as a sister.

"(y/n), you are under arrest for helping a traitor escape, put your weapons down and place your hands behind your back." Fox sounded like he was programmed to you. "Assajj Ventress, you are under arrest for the crimes you have committed against the republic." He finished with.

"Enjoy running my dear daughter,". Ventress spat at you as she lept behind you and began to run. Two of the guards following after her.

You froze in place as Fox approached you, your eyes pleading for him to understand.

"Fox, what are you doing. You're my brother you would never hurt me." Your voice cracking slightly as he kept his blaster raised at you.

"You are a traitor to the republic and will stand trial for your crime." He spat at you and fired his weapon.

It was a live round, you jumped out of the way but you weren't fast enough. The blaster bullet hitting you in the thigh. You let out a loud scream as you fell to the floor before quickly getting up and taking off, Fox and the other guard following closely behind you. It was difficult to run, your thigh spilling blood over everything you passed. The pulsing pain shooting up your body every time your foot landed on the ground.
