Stella was in her room in the compound, she was sitting in her desk with her hands burying her face as she cried silently. She still couldn't process that her aunt was dead and she was never coming back, the one who always had their back, the one who loved them with everything in her
Kaine approached her room as he meant to talk to her because he never had the chance to earlier, he heard her sobs making his heart ache even more than it was. If anyone should take the blame was him, he thought
"Stel" He called softly and she quickly wiped her tears and remained silent still not turning around facing him
"Go away, Kaine" she muttered through numb lips before standing up making her way to her bed and he stepped inside the room
"I'm so sorry" he apologized sincerely as his voice shook and she looked up angrily meeting his guilty eyes
"Kaine, I said leave" she demanded with a fiery glare and he sighed as he approached her with a pleading look "You better get out of here before I burn you alive"
"I will fix this, I promise" he told her as tears welled up in his eyes as he grabbed her hand gently but she unconsciously pushed him away with her magic sending him across the room
He groaned in pain as he hit his head roughly and she stood there frozen, she never wanted to hurt him, she never meant to hurt anyone but it was who she was. She'd loose control every now and then
"Stella!" Selena called as she rushed inside the room to see Kaine on the floor and Stella was looking at him horrifiedly
"I'm sorry, I'm not feeling well" Stella told them and she stormed out of the room just when Theo and Naomi stepped in fearfully to see if something was wrong with their niece
"Are you okay, Kaine?" Selena kneeled down beside him to check if he was alright and he nodded placing his hand on the back of his head
"I'm fine" he assured her and she kissed his forehead gently before standing up following her daughter
