Klaus opened his eyes to see she was no longer beside him, her place was cold causing him to frown in confusion. He stood up quickly and made his way to the bathroom attached to their room but she wasn't there. He rushed into the nursery to see her standing with her arms crossed around her chest
"Little wolf" he called and she didn't reply or turn around and he sighed before touching her shoulder and she flinched lightly
"Jesus, Nik!" She exclaimed and he looked at her in concern
"Are you alright?" He asked her and she nodded weakly
"I'm fine" she forced a smile and he shook his head
"You're not. You can tell me what's wrong, talk to me please" he said almost pleadingly and she sighed in frustration
"I'm paranoid all the time... I keep asking myself. How could I protect myself without my powers?" She asked him and he smiled encouragingly before holding her hands
"You did it for seventeen years and you proved yourself so many times without your powers, you stood up against me and I knew you were scared but you were also and still fearless, it was one of the many reasons why I fell in love with you. You won ever battle... you can do this because you are powerful, never forget that" he said sincerely and she smiled at him adorably before hugging him tightly and he smiled
