Third Person POV
Atsumu and Sakusa had settled onto the couch in front of the TV.
Sakusa handed the bowl of popcorn to Atsumu while he picked out a movie.
Sakusa didn't really talk to Atsumu back in high school. They had spoken a bit after the fart event that happened during their second year, but other than that, they barely knew each other.
But there was one thing Sakusa remembered Atsumu saying back in high school...
Sakusa's POV
He hates horror movies.
So... Like any normal human being would, I put on The Shining.
Did I feel bad? Yeah.
Did I regret it? Not one bit.
Why?
After every single jumpscare, Miya would yelp and curl up into the couch.
That was adorable on its own, but when the scene with the twins came on, he grabbed my arm and buried his face in my chest.
Okay, I kinda felt bad now so I turned off the TV and wrapped my arms around him.
"Are you okay, Miya?" I asked.
He nodded but he was trembling.
Okay, now I felt really bad.
"Do you still want to watch the movie?"
He shook his head.
"Do you want to just talk?"
He nodded again before moving away from me.
I immediately missed his presence, but I didn't let it show.
"Can ya tell me how Samu's doin'?" He asked.
"I'm not entirely sure, he looked very upset at the police station today, but I think Suna will make him feel better," I replied.
"Oh... Well, how's the investigation goin'?"
"The detectives didn't say much... We have to go back tomorrow to continue the investigation," I said.
"Ah... I guess yer stuck with me for a while," he replied.
"It's fine... I don't mind, honestly," he looked at me with widened eyes.
"What do ya mean?"
"Like I said earlier, I'm comfortable around you," I leaned back, looking up at the ceiling, "I don't know why... But I'm not disgusted by your touch," I said, avoiding eye-contact.
"So I can do this?" He poked my cheek and then giggled.
That sound was heavenly. I looked at him, a small but genuine smile was placed on his face.
I couldn't stop the small smile that subtly spread across my face as I chuckled lightly.
"Say, Omi..." He started as he dragged his index finger up and down my right forearm, sending shivers down my spine.
"I see a gamin' console over there, what games do ya have?"
"There's Minecraft, Call of Duty, Forza, Just Dance-"
