This is a little bit of a spoiler for what happens in the next books of Savior :)

Wilbur walked slowly into the old garden, full of roses. He never thought that he would be here again, but here he was, sitting on the rim of the fountain, just like he and Techno would do when they were kids. One time, Techno had pushed him in. Their mother had scolded him, but it was quite the laugh.

He sighed, closing his eyes.

He was trying to remember why he couldn't come here anymore, but his thinking was cut off by another presence in the garden, "Son."

He slowly opened his eyes, his mother standing before him, "Mum?" his voice sounded very...childish.

Techno stood beside her, a worried look on his face. He looked at his hands, small and childish as they were 12 years ago.

Techno's words fumbled their was out of his mouth, "I'm sorry for pushing you into the fountain, Wil!" Wilbur smiled, remembering this part. Next, he would say-

Wilbur fell back into the fountain, cold, dirty water flooding his clothes. He opened his eyes, alarmed. He was back in the present, in the garden. The house has been abandoned long ago, but somehow the garden was still trimmed beautifully and the roses never died. This was his childhood home, he had thought that it had been blown up.

His home before he went on to join all of those servers.

His home before he took his own route.

He brushed his wet hair out of his face, the white streak bothering him slightly. He never had it when he had lived here, and now that he was here with it, it seemed like a reminder of the cold and brutal things he had put on his younger brother.

He peeled off his wet jacket, holding the piece of wet leather in his hands. He sighed and put on his gas mask, it was time.

"Down with the king."
