Chapter 16 "Planing revenge"

That little rat! Three moons since the accident with Flowerstream, i have and will not forgive that kit for what harm she has done! Blackwing has mourned just as bad as me with flowerstream's death. I have now learned in life you can love no one, if you do, they'll leave you. Look at Sandbreath and my kits.

I flicked my tail as i saw Mousekit race out of the den chasing after a moss ball. I wonder.....I sat up and padded secretly to Applestar's den. He saw me and stood up.

"Hello Darkheart" he purred happily.

I flicked my tail and looked down at Mousekit then back at Applestar "How old are Silverpoint's kits?"

"Um, five moons, why?" he asked.

"I was wondering if you'd give me Mousekit as my apprentice" i said.

He looked at me confused "Why do you ask now?" he purred "And what about Redkit, his apprentice Ceremony is in a couple of days?"

"I just think that i need to break the 'Ice' with Mousekit and her sister" i said.

"I'll think about it" he said.

I nodded and left the den. Swiftdawn kittened three kits; I wasn't too excited as my love for kits has died. All they do is mewl and cry all night long. I padded down the slop hopping that Applestar would make Mousekit my apprentice as i have big plans for her.

     To my delight, Applestar listened to me. Mousepaw is mine now. But i wish that Icepaw would have had a different mentor though as it would be easier to kill her, but I’m getting too ahead of myself, i have a bigger and better plan for her by using her sister. The night Mousepaw became my apprentice, i took her out to meet the Resistance as she would now be officially apart of them. I told Tigerclaw my plan about Icepaw. He was thrilled with it. Brokenstar disappeared lately and Tigerclaw says that he walks 'Other' Forests now. I honestly don't know what that means yet but will find out soon. But as the days went by, Mousepaw showed no interest in power and lust and everything, even after everyone congratulated on Icepaw for killing a badger on her first way out. I was shocked at this because she possesses strong, evil power and strength. No apprentice can do that. But i have a plan, well Pinestar and I do anyway. I talked to her when i left Mousepaw to get some rest after me trying so hard to convince her. I have arranged for Pinestar to sneak in the nursery and kill Swiftdawn and one of her kits. That should trigger Applestar to have us head into their territory. If so, then the plan will be in action.

     I padded back from the gathering and hopped that Pinestar followed through with her plan. When i heard the blood curtailing scream of a cat. I knew that Pinestar followed through. Now it's time to convince Applestar to go to Flowerclan to follow through with my plan. Pinecloud went on and on talking. Icepaw and Mousepaw were rather a bit furious by this. Is Mousepaw this stupid? I've told her this plan over and over again. I now should have my say.

"They must have attacked the nursery when we were at the gathering" i hissed flexing my claws. The clan dismissed and went to their normal duties. I could hear Applestar telling Cloudfoot, Icepaw and Pinecloud what they should do. I saw Mousepaw looking at me in dismay. I walked past her and hissed "meet me at the four trees."

"Darkheart!" she exclaimed once we got there "I knew you had something to do with this, how could you!"

"You do whatever it takes to get power Mousepaw and you will soon learn that" i hissed to her "Just you wait Mousepaw" i said as i glared at her "Icepaw is the one you should look out for, she's no good and will steal any chance to become a warrior before you" i snapped.

"She would never do such a thing" she hissed a bit nervous "She's my sister; she would never want to become a warrior before me! We will all be made warriors at the same time!"

I snorted with anger "Mousepaw, she will try at anything to be a better cat than you, just you wait, now come, you must get some sleep, Applestar will make his decision by then...."
